Just got my Chime installed and integrated. For the most part video quality is similar to Nest Hello once I increased the resolution from within HE (default was set at lower res). But now I’m really seeing the need to get the HTML settings page added for HE users. I’m getting constant motion push notifications because it’s a very windy day today and the trees across the street are setting it off. Would love to add zones myself. Also, the picture is a bit dark, and I believe one can tweak the exposure level with Pro only. For now I’ll have to see if my remote dealer can help.

Popcorn effect I’m guessing?

I have a wall mount T4, can you tell me if the fixes address anything with that? Or is it just the table top version? Thanks.

What made you pick POE over WiFi for your retrofit situation? Just wondering since I’m debating between the two types myself. Also, can’t you have your dealer set up the zones for you initially?

Yes that was it, my son actually found that setting about 1 hour ago. Weird that I didn’t do anything to switch it initially from outdoor to indoor. It just starting showing indoor temp a few days ago. Thanks for responding.

Just recently the outdoor temperature is showing on the screensaver has been incorrect. The outdoor temp is 26 degrees and shows correctly on the bottom right corner of the normal control screens. But when the screensaver kicks in, it shows as 66F.

Is the silver Chime unit available now or still on back order? What about the black version?

I’m not seeing the intercom feature inside the C4 app. Is this supposed to be available for iOS already?

Anyone know if the T4 can display the outdoor temperature on the time/date screen saver?

I bought this one a few months ago and it’s been working great. I use it via the optical input, but it also supports 3.5mm. And it does not use batteries, power is via USB (either from your TV or a small phone charger). Yes, it has a cheap look and feel, but so far has been rock solid. Note that unless you have those special loss latency ear buds, there will be a slight audio delay relative to the picture on the TV. Hi all, Now that I’ve got my T4 installed, I’d like to add some dedicated buttons for Morning and Goodnight scenes. These scenes would control lights, shades, locks and alarm potentially. What’s the best way to do this that will look good visually? Are there Experience Buttons for this? Any other recommendations or examples are welcome. Thanks

When I set my T4 to use automatic brightness based on ambient light, the setting doesn’t “stick”. If I go back to the settings screen a second time (sometimes after a few minutes), the button for automatic brightness is unchecked. Anyone else see this?

I upgraded to Qolsys from an older 2GIG system, so I bought the 345MHz version so I wouldn’t have to buy any new sensors. I have the same problem. Can easily turn on/off TV and sources with C4 with Alexa, but can’t control the volume on my receiver.
