  1. Looks like you are talking about Media Edition above. The rest of us are talking about Composer HE.
  2. For me, my aging, wall mounted iPad mini just takes to long to "wake up" even though it's in Guided Access mode. And now that I'm thinking of getting the new Chime to replace my Nest Hello, it just makes sense. Thinking of getting the 8" in white, but will have to do some drywall repair to replace the flush mounted iPad.
  3. Anyone figure this out yet? Is it a bug in 3.2 for everyone, or just us three?
  4. Debating between getting the 8” vs the 10”. I’ll be replacing a wall mounted iPad mini which I find the size to be perfect.
  5. Problem is my system was just upgraded to 3.2, so I don’t think I can downgrade. if you into your C4 portal account you will find all previous versions under “your system”.
  6. So what's the deal with the password for HE 3.2? Do I have to downgrade to 3.1x to make this work again?
  7. Can someone let me know if dealer is needed to program shade groups, once the driver is added to my project?
  8. Thanks so I just need my dealer to add this driver? Does he need to do any binding? Or can I do all the programming with HE? Is it a free driver?
  9. What are blind groups? I have Lutron Triathlon integrated with C4, and I don't believe I have blind groups set up. What are they?
  10. Does the LEAP driver work with the standard RadioRA 2?
  11. Not sure, as I never tried. But maybe some setting needs to be overridden since this could be a security issue?
  12. Let me know if you can’t find the feature to turn on C4 integration and find the token. I can look at my panel to let you know. Also make sure you have the latest firmware. Do you?
  13. You mean the battery powered sensors dropping out? Never seen an issues in the 3 years or so that I’ve had my sensors installed. And all on original batteries. I changed from a 2GIG panel to the IQ Panel 2+ (345 MHz version) and didn’t even need to change out my sensors. Just had to learn them in.
  14. The setting should be there. If you updated your panel to the latest, they moved the setting to under the dealer login, not the installer login anymore. That threw me off too until I poked around and found it.
  15. With my security company, Surety, I can have an Alarm.com account without central monitoring, but not the other way around. Not sure if other companies allow just the central monitoring for cheaper. If you don’t want/need central monitoring then you could probably self monitor with just the panel connected locally to Control4 and use 4sight subscription to remotely control and monitor.
  16. Very cool. I hope C4 can integrate the Hello and other Nest cameras in the future.
  17. I have my Jandy controller integrated and it works fine. But I use the RS232 serial interface to communicate, not the iAquaLink one over IP. I was told by my C4 integrator at the time that the serial one works better.
  18. The connection is made locally over WiFi. I don’t think you need an Alarm.com account or central monitoring, but I don’t know for sure since I have both setup with mine still.
  19. Yes Neil I was able to set mine up as an end user. I have Surety as my Alarm.com dealer, and they work exclusively with DIY folks. www.suretyhome.com
  20. Scroll to the bottom of this page for details: https://qolsys.com/iq-panel-2-plus/ By the way, Ari integrated my new IQ Panel 2+ with C4 a few weeks ago, and it's been working great!
  21. You want the IQ Panel 2+, which as you said comes in 3 flavors. Each one supports a different "legacy" frequency mode for sensors. I was upgrading from a 2GIG system, so I chose the 345MHz one, so I didn't have to replace any of my wireless sensors. The 345MHz version is also compatible with Honeywell. The other flavors are for DSC (433MHz) and Interlogix (319MHz). All 3 versions, however, support the PowerG encrypted sensors. If you are starting from scratch, you could really pick any of the 3 versions. Hope this helps.
