Doh... thanks for catching such a simple mistake.

Someone suggested offline that there is another device with the same address on the network. I turned off the projector, and no other devices were present.
Any other ideas?

I have a JVC projector that has been in service and functional for about 1.5 years. All has been working fine. All of a sudden, it no longer responds to any C4 commands. It appears offline to C4, but is pingable elsewhere.
Any suggestions on why c4 can't see this on the network?
I should add that I can turn it on with the JVC remote just fine.

Deleted his app and removed the device from my.control4.com, then re-installed and logged in.
Tried this, and still nothing.

I have the same problem on IOS. So not just android as far as I can tell. My 4sight is current.
Other suggestions?

Too bad we don't have WAP here to comment.
I also have a dealer who has let me down numerous times despite being platinum status. The incompetence and lack of follow through is astonishing. I've found that once the initial install is complete (and all the profit has been made), the motivation for service is gone. No money in maintenance calls, so not a priority anymore. Shame.
And I should have added, this is why I'm thankful for this forum.

sorry that you're going through this and having to deal with your dealer.

I'm having the remaining modules installed tomorrow. Turns out the firmware was incorrect on the ones I had previously, so it required them to be swapped out.
If successful, I will have modules for the following:
Wolf Steam Oven
Wolf Oven
Subzero Integrated Refrigerator
Subzero Integrated Freezer
Subzero dual drawer RefrigeratorAll that being said, the C4 integration does not exist today. I understand that it is in the works and will be released at a later date. Until then, we are limited to the mobile app.

I have the exact same problem.

i purchased my appliances a year ago. I'm not sure if today's appliances come with WiFi built in. The module i pictured above is a sub-zero module, but was purchased after the fact.
I have come to learn that the driver that was mentioned previously on this forum was for a discontinued module. There is no C4 driver available today for this specific module. So for now, we can only use the consumer app on a mobile device. I'm hopeful it will change soon.

I'm having modules installed literally as we speak. There will be modules for the fridge, freezer, oven and drawer fridges.
According to the wolf rep I can remote start ovens, monitor temps, etc.
I'll report back on what it can and cannot do in both the native app and C4.

Again, just my opinion... since each LED tape light will be in a different location/room, etc, I don't see a problem adding multiple IR controllers. Each scene will be turned on/off independently, and if coordination is required, it can be done with an advanced lighting scene.
That being said, I don't know what you can do with DMX that you can't do with basic LED controllers. Nor do I know the cost of the Z2IR type solution.
Good luck!!!

I guess it's RF.
Yes, it would be if you can operate it without pointing it to the receiver.

This could be where you use the IR repeater. But after reading this thread you may want to reconsider the DMX option if you want to scale and have a lot of lights and not piecemeal it together. I don't have experience with DMX, so my comments are just my thoughts.

I suppose I should have asked. I assumed your remote was IR. If that is not the case, then my suggestion no longer applies.
-
Yah, It sounds like the switch is redundant.
I haven't tried this, but is the IR receiver for the strip in a location that you could use one of these?
Also saw this thread which sounds similar but with a different brand I think.

How do you control the LED lights now? Is it via IR remote or hardwire switch? Do you want color changing, flashing, etc or just on/off?
Device appears offline to C4 but isn't

I corrected the typo and I still have the same errors. Any other suggestions?
