The NEO in source mode means as per Ari above here that you need to bind the sources to the audio matrix, not the NEO outputs to the audio matrix. In essence you 'blind' C4 from knowing the sources run via the Neo, which is essentially acting as a 'dumb' big DAC for the sources.
This IS the preferred way of doing it as it prevents the sometimes troublesome double matrix issue - but right now C4 is trying to switch the NEO - thinks it's doing it, but the NEO is ignoring the commands.

Uhm Just no. Yes, the amp turns the room/on off. Normally your ACTUAL LAST CONTROL POINT would be your system endpoint. While you CAN do it the way you note, that is as already said a shortcut, or can be used if there is no control of the 'dumb' amp in the end. If you have something like a Triad amp, you may well be controlling it with a relay..... if you don't set it up as the audio endpoint, you'd have to manually program the relay to open close on every room turning on/off.

Again, i do not know the specific video switch model too well, but in general:
You set the video switch stereo/optical OUTPUTS to be 'locked' to respective HDMI inputs. I assume the Neo can do that internally - if not you can create a simple Macro that you schedule a few times a day to set them.
From there, in the system you connect the device stereo or optical output to the actual input on the matrix that the NEO goes to. SHOULD the device driver not have the matching 'virtual' output available, you need to add a driver that creates a virtual break-out (av pathsetter or similar) that gets 'connected' hdmi in from the source and stereo/optical to the audio matrix and is set to be able to convert signals.
That SHOULD be it and should show devices under watch with audio available and under listen as available source. No further programming required as such.

One thing to double check by the way is the NEO's output volume levels....

Gabi_Mac79 got a reaction from Andrew luecke in Driver / Method to control "Addressable" LED Strips
Depending on the complexity of your pixel animations, you need a controller to perform the shows, if it is just generic rainbow effects there are more options.

I'd be very surprised if each of those pixels would be individually addressable. usually the pixels would be in small groups.

Do you have the link to the tape you were looking at?

Gabi_Mac79 reacted to Cyknight in Control4 - Core Controller - How many Zigbee Devices supported?
ZigBee limit has little to do with the controller, or it's CPU, but with zigbee protocol and devices themselves - so as such I would assume the 70 device limit is the same for the Core line once it becomes available.

Can you give us some examples of how we could use this driver?
Choose which stream to utilise with the driver. The driver's Auto setup functionality makes configuration of the cameras quick and easy. Access IP camera live streams when behind an NVR Access to currently active events that you can bind to sensors for audio detection, motion detection and tamper. Trigger camera commands via the Programming tab Ability to change the camera resolution to better match Control4’s preferred resolution What site setups does this driver support?
One or more standalone cameras connected to shared network switch without a NVR One or more cameras physically connected to the rear of a NVR One or more cameras physically connected to the rear of an NVR including one or more cameras connected to a shared network switch that are added to the NVR What models will this work on?
This driver is developed using Uniview’s LightAPI and is compatible with all models on NVR and Cameras.
I want to try this driver out before buying it?

    Yeah true..
I'm on Release Preview. But honestly, if it's a computer you're using for work, you shouldn't be using insider builds anyway (I actually forgot I had insider previews turned on tbh).

Yeah, any programming that fires off commands to devices that take a while to come online (Lighting, Zigbee Thermostats, possibly Wifi devices, etc.) will not execute in the "When Project is Loaded" event.
msgreenf is right on track, and it's what I do on my programming in there...

You can show multiple calendars in different icons. I don't know if you can show them all on one. Looks good on a t3

I’m a long time user, but would recommend one of the remote dealers on this forum. It sounds like you will get much better support.
