  1. We added a delay of 1 minute, but it's still the same problem. Should we try even longer a delay?
  2. I have some programming under the event "When project xxxxx is loaded". This doesn't always seem to execute when the controller is restarted - it executes sometimes and doesn't other times. Anything I need to do to make it consistently work?
  3. I don't have experience with the Schlage locks, but the August lock lets you change the code remotely using the August app. The Control4 driver does as well, but that feature has never worked for me.
  4. Lol. That is a solution in the US, but in other regions where local streaming platforms aren't available on Roku it isn't.
  5. I'm still facing the issue where C4 randomly disconnects from the Fire TV. Each time I need to call my dealer, who rescans for Fire TVs in the project. I seem to be in the minority though, and most other people don't seem to be having this problem.
  6. All of a sudden a couple of weeks ago, the C4 app started to take about 15-20 seconds to show anything under "lights" and "shades", until which point the list is blank. It used to be pretty much instant until this problem started. The problem is seen on iPhone and Android, and happens while accessing it locally through wifi and remotely. The system is on the latest version (3.2.4 I think). Any help on how to fix this would be awesome.
  7. I read all comments on this thread, and I plan to buy the Moen Flo. I already have what I think is a very similar product - the Grohe Sense. It doesn't have a Control4 driver though, and that's why I'm thinking of changing it to the Flo. I wanted to make sure the Moen Flo does what the Grohe Sense does for me now, before I make this change. I don't plan to buy and Moen sensors though. Without additional external sensors and just the Flo valve, does the Flo automatically detect slow leaks or a pipe break and turn off the water supply by itself? The reason I don't plan to buy any sensors from Moen is that I already have water leak sensors connected to my DSC security system (which is integrated with C4 via it's driver), so any leak is known in C4. I could use this info to turn off the Flo via C4. Is there any disadvantage of doing this as opposed to using Moen's external sensors? Thanks for the help everyone!
  8. That sucks. Since it’s based on Tizen, would’ve been nice to have the SDDP control! Does the other Samsung TV connected via WiFi work through IP control? I thought Samsung TVs needed Ethernet for power on to work via IP.
  9. I wasn't sure of a solution to integrate the Smart Monitor. You're right about the monitor not having any ethernet port. And my dealer said the documentation for most Samsung TV IP drivers say that the TV has to be connected via ethernet because power on doesn't work via wifi. Based on this, it seemed highly likely that even if I get a working driver for the Smart Monitor, the power on wouldn't work, which of course makes the entire integration useless. I felt the setup was risky, so I didn't take a chance of buying the monitor and being stuck with something I can't use. Did you have any luck on a solution?
  10. @Amr it works fine with the Fire TV app. When the link between Control4 and the Fire TV is lost (either due to a controller or Fire TV reboot), it seems like all that needs to be done is to go to Composer and click on "Rescan for Fire TVs" under Actions in the driver properties of any one Fire TV in the project. This causes Control4 to find all the Fire TVs and reconnect to them in the rooms they were originally configured to. So it seems like the problem is that the driver isn't looking for the Fire TVs and connecting to them when it should. Going into Composer and clicking "Rescan for Fire TVs" is of course not a practical solution every time.
  11. I have the Fire TV app, but I haven't really used it. I'll try it out with that and see how it works.
  12. Yeah, that sounds right. I'll get the c4z from my dealer and send it to you.
  13. This was a free experience button driver that had 13 states, named as colors. I think it was an official Control4 driver if I remember right, it's called experience UI key or something very similar. If you search for this driver, you should be able to find it. We edited the driver to have off plus 5 states only. I'm happy to share the driver with the edits for the fan.
  14. It's not. My system is part KNX and part Control4. So it's controlling a KNX fan. I don't think it should matter what the system is though, since the fan experience button controls the fan via programming. I assume the programming can be done to control any fan.
  15. I had assumed this wouldn’t be an issue. I was thinking on the lines of what @zaphod said - the AV control commands are very sporadic. I don’t think more than 2 TVs are ever on at the same time. In any case, the load and memory numbers I observed indicate it’s not overloaded right?
  16. Here’s a preview of what I have under comfort. It’s a bit slow because I’m accessing it remotely - the response is a lot quicker when I’m using it locally. If the fan is on at any speed and the icon hasn’t been tapped for 5 seconds, the next tap turns it off (this can be disabled as well). The basic fan icon is from an existing driver we found, but the speed indicator is what I added. I was super annoyed that the fan wasn’t under comfort, so this takes care of that. FullSizeRender.mov
  17. My dealer and I together had made an experience button for the fan (I made the art work and he put together the driver). It cycles through fan speeds 1-5 and off on repeated presses. It also optionally can be set to have its next state as off if it hasn’t been pressed in 5 seconds and isn’t off (easy way to turn it off when it’s been running for a while). I have the icon in comfort and it works great. I’m happy to share it with anyone if they want it.
  18. Control4 support? When my dealer asked them, they seemed to have no idea.
  19. Thanks @msgreenf and @zaphod. I’ve never seen any signs of overloading on my EA3. There’s never been any sluggishness of any kind. Do you have any idea why I might be facing the problem of the link between my Fire TVs and controller getting broken when the controller or Fire TV is restarted? Especially since I seem to be the only one having this problem.
  20. We observed the CPU over 5 minutes and it ranged from 7% to 45%, with it being closer to 7% most of the time. The memory was at 1GB of the 4GB total available. We’ve not seen any other issues that can be indicative of an overload so far. The only Zigbee device is one SR260. In terms of other devices, what kind of count would be helpful?
  21. That worked perfect! Thanks! There was an option to directly activate the screensaver as well. That let me keep the delay untouched and start the slide show without any delay.
  22. Thanks @Amr. I have an EA3 running 3.2.3. I have 5 Fire TVs and it’s the same problem with all 5. Surprising that I seem to be the only one facing this problem. I’m using the official Amazon Control4 Fire TV driver that does direct IP control without an IRUSB.
  23. Thanks @South Africa C4 user. We’ll try playing around with it based on the info you’ve given. Is there a way to directly enable the photo slideshow via programming?
