  1. I'm integrating an old video source that has multiple non standard buttons on the original remote. The device is being controlled via IR. The problem I'm facing is that all drivers I try for the device has a standard set of buttons that don't map well to my source. Is there an easy way to edit the labels of the buttons in the C4 app/T3 screens shown for the source (like info, cancel, menu, etc.)? Ideally I can edit the number of buttons as well. Thanks for your inputs!
  2. Yeah, this would make the most sense. My installer had put a fan icon that I could favorite - but it only allowed on and off. It looked good with animations and everything, but it didn’t have speed control.
  3. So there’s no way to get the history to work with any NVR such as Lilin or Hikvision? It’s literally limited to only the DS2 and chime?
  4. Hi. How does the fan speed control look in the C4 app/touchscreen? Thanks!
  5. When I go to the camera section under security, I see the live view of my cameras fine. However, I see a history button on the top right as well - what NVR would work with this history button? Thanks for your help.
  6. All of the mini apps and RF apps are working great with the Fire TV, apart from Prime Video for me. The Prime Video app is opening the Fire TV home screen instead of the Prime Video home screen. Is anyone else facing the same problem? Thanks for your help.
  7. When will the Fire TV Apps folder that was in the original driver from November be available? I assume that's what you meant by the grid view. It looks like people here are looking forward to it, so I hope it will be available soon. Thanks for your reply.
  8. I'm having trouble with the status of the August lock as well. Sometimes the status works fine, but at other times the status doesn't change when the lock is locked/unlocked. I'm on driver version 2009. Thanks for the help!
  9. Thanks for checking it. It is a useful feature to have, so hopefully they bring it back soon.
  10. Got it. Is there any way to avoid switching the rooms? If there is, that would solve everything!
  11. I’m definitely going to try and see what I can do with this approach. If I do this, would that give me the ability to control the Sonos via C4 as well? I’m looking to have control via both the C4 app and Sonos app (including the ability to control the volume via both).
  12. But you aren't able to control the volume via the Sonos App? I feel there should be a cleaner solution than to have to stop using the Sonos app to control the volume, because there isn't an easy way to have different audio endpoints for watch and listen.
  13. If I do that, I lose the ability to control the volume via the Sonos app. Given the Control4 - Sonos integration is quite limited (restricted to only playing playlists already favorited in the Sonos app), depending solely on the Control4 app wouldn't be enough.
  14. I have the Grohe Sense Guard. Were you able to find a way to integrate it with Control4?
  15. Hi. I have a Sonos Port connected to an Onkyo AV receiver, using the "works with Sonos" integration. With this, whenever anything is played via the Sonos app, it automatically turns on the receiver and switches it to the input used by Sonos. When the Onkyo receiver is set to this input used by Sonos, the receiver's volume is also fixed to a preset volume. Trying to change the volume on the receiver doesn't do anything and the screen displays "Sonos Preset Volume". So when the volume is changed via the Sonos app, it changes the volume on the Sonos Port, not on the receiver. However, when the receiver is set to any other input, the volume control on the receiver works normally. This setup works fine while using the Sonos app for Sonos. Now when I try to play Sonos via C4 i see limitations. I have tried 2 options: If I set the audio endpoint for the room as the receiver, I can't control the volume via C4 since it tries to control the receiver's volume. And when the receiver is on the input used by Sonos, the receiver's volume control is disabled with the message "Sonos Preset Volume" If I set the audio endpoint for the room as Sonos, I can control the volume via C4. Basically C4 only controls Sonos, and Sonos controls the receiver via the Onkyo-Sonos integration rather than C4 controlling the receiver. This works fine, but has two limitations. First, when I stop playing music via C4 the receiver doesn't power off since the Onkyo-Sonos integration only controls the receiver's power on and not the power off. Second, if something is being watched via the receiver in the room when music is played via the Sonos app, both watch and listen are active at the same time despite both using the same receiver (since C4 incorrectly thinks that since the endpoints for watch and listen are different both can happen simultaneously). Looking for suggestions on how to handle this. I appreciate everyone's help. Thanks!
  16. We tried that. We do see the "firetv apps", but even if we make it visible, it doesn't show up in the watch section. Everything else before and after that shows up though. My dealer isn't able to figure out why it's happening, would you be able to have a quick look? I would really appreciate that!
  17. I think @azkid and @Matt Lowe had got this to work, based on what I’ve read through here. Maybe they had figured out a way to make it work? Hoping to hear what they did soon.
  18. Hi azkid. I'm not able to get the FireTV apps folder. How did you get it to show up? Hi Matt. I get it on the Roku - the Roku apps works great. But I'm not able to get it to show up for the FireTV. The universal apps work, but the FireTV apps folder doesn't for me.
