jamesc4
Hi-- Any experience with TV Lifts. I came across Nexus, is that the way to go? and for Control4 Integration, is it just IR?
lippavisual
Nexus are top notch. Includes remote and wired contact interface for the installers kit. Future Automation and Inca are other manufacturers that I've dealt with.
vitali
nexus21- works very well
Cyknight
Used both Nexus and Inca - both work well, find Inca feels a bit more robust but splitting hairs there. Both are best integrated using direct relay connections, both have control boxes for it.
casperspooks
Big thumbs up for Nexus; have installed a few and support has been great. On dealer only forums, general consensus is that Future seems best of the best and costs accordingly. Inca reviews are pretty mixed. Crustyloafer
Future Automation for all jobs with us where a lift or similar is required. They just work.

Have mine set up with IR and it is 80% whether it goes up when IR signal sent (programmed it to send like 5 in a row to make sure it works). How do you do a direct relay connection? lippavisual
rock solid integration is only going to happen with wired connectivity. ^^Which manufacturer are you asking about??
Cyknight
^ Yeah hard to say for sure - but generally there is an external control box with the lift that has contact connections, you would then have a wire go to those, connected back to controller to one or more relays - one or more depends on the box itself.
