penn65000
Does anyone know if OS3 improves the zigbee mesh? We've had issues with our lighting and response times (periodically). Realized that it was partially due to the need for a power conditioner on a sump pump, but still have issues occasionally with 1-2 6 button switches. Each mesh supports up to 65 or so nodes (switches etc...) Bill

Bill Yes but we have multiple meshes. Installed by a pinnacle C4 dealer and C4 has reviewed the install.

We had 190 on a single mesh. Worked a treat for a number of years. All of a sudden we started having latency using the SR-250's n the house. None of us could figure out what the issue was - tech support walked right to it - we were having a huge number of "failures" or retrys to get back to the server. We created another mesh and move about 70 nodes so far - it is working much better. Still need to move some more nodes. I thought that this might have been your issue - but it sounds not promising. Likely just need to moved to another mesh or may be to far on the fringes and might need a closer zap.

Old vs new style is a simple way of identifying the main genereations - ie is the one one you currently see on C4's website, or is the style they previously used (been a few years now). There are known scenarios where mixing the two in a single mesh can cause issues with communication reliability (seen by the user as ignored button presses primarily, or delayed responses).
