fredsoneya
I'm probably being very silly but on my wireless keypads (square ones), the keycaps click in no problem, however the up down keypad with the little plastic bit at the bottom just won't click in properly - any ideas??? chopedogg88
did you remove the bottom piece first?
fredsoneya
This suppose to be off??? Can’t work it out sorry for stupid question!!
Cyknight
Don't know about the square one, but for the US decora those buttons are held in place by a bottom bar (it's always there, has the little light level sensor in it)
Cyknight
Quick image check, that bar isn't there on the square one, and it looks like the cover plate is supposed to hold it in place
J to the D
Yeh as far as I’m aware, these are only held in with the faceplate and do not “click” into place like the other buttons.
fredsoneya
Thanks! Absolutely correct, plastic bit stays on and the faceplate holds them in. Thank you.
Cyknight
OH! yes don't remove that little plastic 'airgap' under neath the two arrow buttons!!!! I guess that could look like it's just a temporary 'bar' to hold the buttons until install, but it's meant to stay on. fredsoneya

Except his square keypads don’t have that bar, and if they did, that’s the light sensor bar...air gap would be on top if it were a US high voltage model. Did you bother to read the rest of the thread? And yes I didn't mean the true air gap on a dimmer, was just trying to describe the bar under the buttons that is used to hold those buttons down.
