alanchow
Our open weather agent will let you program off of current weather conditions, today’s forecast and tomorrow’s forecast. https://www.chowmainsoft.com/weather-forecast Neo1738 and msgreenf
Neo1738
Perfect picked up a kasa outdoor outlet and some heated mats for the walk. Want to set to turn on if below freezing turn off if above certain temp! Doesn't need to be exact.

I thought this was to attach to say motion sensor or other equipment that has a thermostat built in. I don't have any outdoor thermostats so just wanted something based off local weather reporting. Have to see the capabilities of the free one and than make a decision, Thanks!

The free driver allows you to program of current temperature, rain in last hour, rain in last 24 hours etc. The paid driver adds in the ability to program against forecast variables. msgreenf and robbie3130

alanchow
7 hours ago, Neo1738 said: Project has Fahrenheit checked but agent definitely shows Celsius. This is definately the case. It only obtains data from 3 parts of the project file. Lat, long and temperature. This is all set in the project settings page at the top of the project tree. Note that the driver polls once every 15 minutes so you may need to wait until the next poll period for it to get the new data in the new units.
