Topfox
Whats the most efficient way to have a TV always set its source to the same source as another TV. Both TVs are on the same Matrix switch just different ports. Think of the scenario being a TV in a main room and a TV in a bar area in the same room (different rooms in C4). Main TV is the only one with sound, but always want the bar TV to be on the same source as the main tv.

Programming can also force them with the set room to other room source command
Topfox
Yeah now I have a bunch of If statements, which seems to work 90% of the time from some testing I did over the weekend. I’ll check out these other options though.
Cyknight
Programming (without room control driver) would simply be: WHEN room a current selected device changes set room b current selected device to the value of room a current selected device. Should the room have music only options, and you don't want to sync that as well, simply add IF room a TV is ON to the above, and add when room a TV is powered off, power off room b Note that that IF statement sometimes fails depending on the TV (ie IP or serial control preferred with full 2-way, Samsung Frame may not work due to art mode)
Topfox
The below is how I have currently have it configured which I believe is horribly inefficient, further more of every responses :). I also have programming on the light switch to turn on/off the 2 Frame TVs and set to Art Mode based on if the light in the main room is on or off. Cyknight
Yeah that huge line of IF statements isn't needed if you just want it to always follow - it can replaced by a single line basically.
Cyknight
Note that media scene certainly an option too - but you'd then want to ad some programming (ie a daily schedule, project load) to ensure the media scene is turned on (in case of accidental off say due to reboots). As you do NOT have audio to worry about in your specific situation, programming may be the simple option.

Yep. That’s exactly what I’m looking to do. Always follow
TFlury
Cyknight has the right idea. You can do it with or with out room control driver. Snips of simple programing without room control driver. Should only match video source.
Topfox
Cool. Going to give it a shot now. Would the Current Selected Device Changes variable apply during a power on event as well, or should I put the script action on device Power On as well. Topfox
disregard. just answered my own question with the test. thanks everyone!
Cyknight
technically you wouldn't even need to add the power off line - powering off IS a current selected device change.
