Rob21
Is there a way to create a menu with experience buttons? I'm pretty much looking for a custom button menu but with custom icons so I do not need to look at the default custom button icon.
Rob21
To clarify my question: Is there a way to change the button icon for custom buttons? Is there a driver that offers something similar to this?
Cyknight
You are talking about two different things here. There's the long standing 'custom buttons' menu - no you cannot change that. There's also 'experience buttons' a newer (though hardly new) option. Experiene buttons are essentally drivers, and those icons can be edited, though not via the system as such. You would have to create a number of icons, name them EXACTLY like the ones in the driver and replace those, change the version number to reflect a change and reload the drivers into the system. zaphod
There are a few ways to customize the experience buttons. I wrote a program to do that and there are some better solutions that others have written as ell.
RAV
Depending on your end goal, you can also create additional rooms, for example a Dashboard, where you have sepecific items favorited to the dashboard room. For a quick glance at all the tstats, lights, locks, etc.
Rob21
Thank you guys but is there any way to tie a menu to an experience button. For example when I click a custom button it brings up a drop down menu with whatever options are under that custom button. I was hoping to be able to have a similar experience but without the dull custom button icon. Thanks
