AETM132
Good afternoon, I am trying to reproduce the sound of the Samsung TV through the optical output, I have an extender that receives the optical cable from the television and reaches the matrix with the receiver of the extender. I try to increase the volume from the interface but it won't let me and it doesn't sound. What could be the problem?
Unsocialtoaster
Do you have the TV set to output Dolby on the optical output? Not all matrix switches can handle it, so try setting the output to stereo instead.

tmj4
Triad Matrix switches only support 2 channel audio input on the optical/coax inputs. TV may be passing more than 2 channels out over optical.
chopedogg88
Triad matrix needs to be programmed to be the video audio endpoint and volume control for the room. OceanDad and AETM132

AETM132
@chopedogg88 @tekki70 thank you guys, the solution was set the video volume on the matrix switch and the Video's audio end point on the triad amplifier. Thank you for the initiative you had in helping me. Unsocialtoaster
