Phantom Programming

Recommended Posts

I had some programming that would turn off my garage lights automatically after 10 minutes.

I no longer want this and deleted all the programming associated with this action (or so I think).

No matter what I do, the garage lights keep turning off after 10 minutes.

Anyone have any suggestions how I can find this "phantom" programming with Composer HE?

What is the motion sensor that is involved in this? Check it and see if u are setting it up that way, C4 ones doesn’t even need programing.

Not sure if its available in HE, but Tools > Detective Suite generally

Unfortunately this is not available in Composer HE.

I have a DSC alarm system which is integrated into C4.  The door contacts and motions are used to trigger events for lighting.

The programming is simple: When the Garage Door Entry Contact Opens: Turn on the Garage --> Garage Lights.

Driver for this light is the native Control4 driver for Adaptive Phases Dimmers.

If I turn the light on manually via the rocker (and don't open any of the doors) the light still turns off after 10 minutes.

The programming must be tied to something else and I just cannot find it...

You didn’t say where you found and deleted the programming. From what you say, my guess is you have programming in a Timer. Go to Programming, then find your Timers. See if there isn’t one for the garage door.

There is no programming for any of my timers related to the garage door light :(
