msgreenf
Turn off for the room won't turn off lights.. Only media..
daveva
The problem is there is no delay between the lighting scene and the turn off outdoor theater. I'm not getting that 15 second delay
Andrew luecke
I'd use timer agent for starters to do the timer.
RAV
Looks like the voice is confused due to similar naming.
c4toys
13 hours ago, daveva said: that 15sec delay is the problem. delays are for short programming activate outdoor theater lighting "off" is good, next make outdoor theater timer, set to 15sec in properties. start "outdoor theater off timer", then go to timer agent, "outdoor theater timer" set when timer expires to "turn off outdoor theater"

You have a room called outdoor theatre and Control4 creates the voice command turn off outdoor theatre natively. It is this command that is being run and not the voice scene that you have created. The native C4 command will turn off media only. Either change the name of your voice scene to something different or, remove the natively creative command by unticking it in my.control4 and then rediscover devices… Edited June 11, 2023 by South Africa C4 user
daveva
OK I unticked to test it out. I did however have time to execute from the script of home edition and it worked according to the programming. But right now it's starting to rain so I can't test it. Thanks for the reply
daveva
So that didn't work. But I noticed I have an exclamation symbol by the outdoor theater in my voice control of my voice control which means that I have a duplicate. Which I cannot find in my home edition. Is there a way in my.control4 that I can eliminate not just untick outdoor theater? I have a laminated everything possible for outdoor theater and started over and still doesn't work. South Africa C4 user
You may need to go into the Alexa App and delete the duplicate there… sometimes (always?) I ticking in my.Control4 will stop it from being added but not delete it (straight away?) on discover devices if it has already been added to Alexa. msgreenf
daveva
I just change the name. Didn't really want to but it works. I did go into the Alexa app and deleted there. Thank you for your help
