Scheduler Agent Conditional Logic to qualify Sunset to Midnight

JackD

Question

Sorry if this has been addressed before but I didn't see anything and the HE manual is not very thorough on this topic.  I'm trying to create a "do this action" when a keypad button is pressed that works differently between sunset and midnight and midnight a sunrise while doing nothing during daylight.   My confusion is on the option to use "Within X minutes before/after sunset". does this mean it's only true for the those X minutes?  Basically I'm trying to get After Sunset AND Before 12:00 AM.   Can anyone point me in the right direction here?

I would create a variable to test against, TimeOfDay

And a scheduled event for each time change you want to track.
Sunset, Midnight, Dawn.
If TimeOfDay = Dawn then stop else if TimeOfDay = Sunset then xyz else do abc
