That's like saying because you have a car you should know how to build one

Pretty sure pressing 2 buttons at same time isn't supported

Have you put your phone in airplane mode and only on WiFi and tested if it works?

I don’t have any issues with C4 and only the chime has been problematic. I see there are plenty of comments of similar issues on Reddit etc which have been supported by tech support and dealers but remain unresolved. My setup is managed in house since 2008.
I won’t give up because I believe C4 is a superior system to its competitors and with the exception of chime it’s just been exceptionally reliable and stable. Not quite sure what I’m going to try next though. Yesterday the logging was enabled and I captured intercom SIP traffic. I’ll have a look for the same on the chime.
Reddit is an echo chamber and by no means a way to quantify a problem

I don't think there are so many customers reporting the same thing...what did you base that on? I've only ever had one customer report a problem like this and they were using AT&T which was a known issue

Maybe I can find a one page guide on how to do your job?

Those are pretty cool. Only downside is they're wifi, not hardwired, and power is USB C (with included brick -- with a 90deg angle, which is clever).
I've played with them a bit, and the mmWave sensor combined with the PIR works out pretty well.
And since Alan already has a driver for them...

I actually plan to try to run USB C power using the alarm wire that is in the wall...convert it to USB C on both ends...then ceiling mount em

The rename driver is a great driver. Unfortunately doesn’t work via programming for large projects… @msgreenf - would be great if that could be changed
Yeah.we should look at that again. Thanks.

Thanks, I'll check that out tonight. I assume the button link can be used to trigger another timer as not to "break" the timer.... correct?
Sure. You could
-
Use the security light timer driver which has a button link to disable
-
-
You wont find an exact cost cause you have to rip walls open to rewire....no one can predict how hard that will be. Replaving LV systems is generally not practical unless you are gutting the home anyway.

2 aux included free!

Honeywell owns Resideo.
I think you have that backwards. Resideo bought Honeywells Alarm business

They do, they are identical. Moving to an EA3 from an EA1 will have zero performance improvements.
I'm currently running an office that has 3 x T4 touch panels, Cameras, and alarms all on a CA-1
going from a CA-1 to a Core you will see a big improvement in touchscreen perormance
-
IMHO ZigBee performance and cooling

You are correct. I read the tread wrong.

Ok thanks. Surprised it is less powerful than an ea-1 since it is new but if they are really trying to keep it to one room then that makes sense. I ask because I see lots of people think you have to had to have an ea-3 or ea-5 for a whole home (when they were the latest controllers) when depending on what existing audio and other third party decides you had an ea-1 would have been plenty. Right now I have an ea-1 acting as my main controller and an ea-3 being used for audio only. Will probably switch the ea-1 for a CORE 1 and the ea-3 for a Sonos port when the time comes I have to upgrade.
You should switch your director to EA3. You will see a performance improvement...ea1 really shouldn't be director in a multi room system

It was reported on March 25. It hasn't been a month...it's been 19 days...
No update I'm aware of

Yes. But it will be fine for single room use. It’s designed to run an AV system, TV, or a theater - not a house.
Correct. There were complaints that core 1 was too expensive for osd. Enter core lite.

You need the bridge and driver installed in project before the options show up in app
