      the serial does not work with hc250, and i believe it is a null, the driver documentations should be more clear.

      Yeah, I just found that out. I pulled out ye ole soldering iron. I am hooking to an EA5.

      ea5 can switch its serial connections internally, no need to wire or get an adapter
