  1. just depends on how everything in the network is configured. You should only have one router in your home network. I would dump the ISP combo and get a modem and router separately. If you don't change anything other than turning off the wifi on the ISP and setting up a new wifi everything should work. If stuff is not working afterwards we would need to know a lot more details or someone will have to log into the project and find out what the issue is. This should be something by a remote dealer connection as well and should not need an on-site visit. It is possible it could be so borked on-site that may be the only way to fix it though. DM if you want me to take a look.

  2. 1) lots of options to do this in programming.

    2) can do it in Composer but more intuitively you can do it in the control4 app with the correct os versions.

    3) depends if the security system is fully integrated and the proper drivers are there but you should be able to program based on the sensors themselves.

Can also check out our composer home training course as we go over all of these topics in good detail.  Can't quite recall if we have a specific video on the eq but i know that we have touched base on it in our videos. might be our next video idea now that i think of it.

I'm bumping this thread to say thanks. The Dimmer Load Group driver is exactly what I needed to solve a very simple problem.

One issue I found with the Dimmer Load Group driver is that it is not compatible with Cold Start. When switching a dimmer on, all of the dimmers will get "stuck" at the cold start value if it is not set to zero. A second press is required to get the dimmer to the default on value for the dimmer.

also, check out the group light driver from @alanchow. It's awesome and will group switches, RGB, TW, and dimmable lights all as one light and figure out what each light gets and how it is affected.

we also did a video on programing it and how to use it.

They haven’t switched ports. But regardless if one is dead it gets rma’d

should be using both ports afaik. but yes it should get rma. i hardly rma any controllers at all for the record.

ok, thanks Mitch. I haven’t used the system since the last update. I remember that going away at some point on my TVs and I was curious if I needed a cheap t3 touchscreen or something to accomplish my goal.

It was not available with os3.0 initially. They have added more to the OSD and continue as they update the experiences.

sounds like maybe your Control4 zigbee network (which is how the remotes communicate to Control4) is messed up for some reason...maybe a controller is down or needs a reboot.  I'd be happy to help you out with it if you need remote support, PM me.

very like part of the above. if its a constant issue a reboot may only be a temporary solution. lots of great remote deals to choose from here to help if your local dealer is unable. Myself included.

  7. Snap dealer agreements also forbid selling outside of your region so it is best to order from your local dealer. As far as software access you can purchase a composer home license and after your system is configured by a pro you can automate and adjust everything to your heart's content. We offer a Composer home Training course as well on https://www.patreon.com/waltstv to show you how to setup automation for a wide variety of situations and adding more every month.

-> Can someone confirm that when the client turns off notifications through the Insight/Control4 integration, it doesn't stop the history and recording of events, it just halts the push.

Confirmed they only thing they turn off in the app is the actually push notifications. The history agent does its thing as it does now with compatible cameras and security devices.
