How are they controlled?
-
I just programmed the URL to the tag. Scan the tag and I touch the pop-up and the command goes off.
-
free C4 Blue Iris Driver.
-
Did you enable Webcast under the BI camera settings?
-
Just the generic free web driver.
I can display my substream (or maybe my main stream) in C4, it just takes way more steps and longer to get there than using the BI app. The playback also isn't nearly as good. Stutters and speeds up to catch up.
-
Just use the Blue Iris app to view the feeds. Using the ameras with C4 is a terrible experience IMHO. I just use push notification with BI. If you want it to trigger C4 to do anything us the web driver and add a URL alert.

Define over priced?
$600+ I would figure. The new Crestron is $1k?

But that's not the model. The model is to communicate w a controller that sends the commands.
Always the buzz kill. But but but it could have IR and X10 as well.

Please respond to the ticket so they can get the issue resolved. I believe they needed to know which email of the two you used is the correct one.
Almost got it fixed...

Did you get the response on your ticket? If not you might have a general issue with receiving mail.
I did, wasn't much help. Definitely on your side, I can hit the reset password button and instantly get an email. Of course I can's reset it since it was never verified.

Not in spam, submitted a ticket.

Looking forward to giving it a go. Looks like the NetPlay Cloud verification emails are not getting sent out.

Rachio Irrigation controller.
Since I set mine up a year ago I haven't touched a thing. What benefits does it add?

that is the entire foundation of control4, I don't see them going away but they are always evolving.
Maybe they could make it a little more flexible.

Proxies are the interfaces - note remotes. Proxies are how devices map commands.
So yes.

You mean proxies?
Proxies?

In programming you do a conditional when an incoming command is x do y
Perfect. Works! Thank you.

Pretty cool. Any trick to getting the web events driver to store a command so it can be added to programming? I can send a command to the driver and get a page that looks like it was received and store but it isn't there under the driver.

No had one of the newer panels. XR150. Horrible. Threw out all their hardware when they wouldn’t buy it back. Horrendous company.
What type of issue? Have no issues with mine, maybe it was all the wireless devices?
Sounds like the company that installed it should have fixed the problem for you.

We had DMP and was a disaster. They don’t play well w C4 and their wireless devices have poor battery life. They also push updates to the panel which causes issues. Awful company too. They wouldn’t stand by their (lousy) products. Imo their focus on two-way communication with wireless devices kills their batteries much earlier than would be the case with Honeywell and DSC. Good luck.
I'm guessing you must have had an older panel, the new ones were made to work directly with C4, zero issues here so far. Everything in the house is hardwired so I don't have any wireless, might add some though. Hopefully they have worked out battery life.

Had one installed about six months ago, works flawlessly and communicates via SDDP.
Don't hear about them being used much here, just throwing it out as another option, that as far as I can tell integrates nicely.

Guessing you need to have a EA3/5 as the audio source.
