If your willing to spend a decent amount of money on a Triad one then I’m sure a EA1 controller is not out of your financial reach. TheN get signed up to a dealer( there are great ones on this site) and have them set this up will not cost much at all.
trust me once you do this you’ll be hooked and this will just be just the start.

The bond guys are currently looking for international distribution with the plans on getting the product in other regions by mid 2020.
The sooner the better Alan

The phoenix connectors are the output to the speakers(speaker cable) and the RCA are used for the audio inputs

Hi Dinushan, why the need for a switch at all? Any reason for that? Just use Bond to program all your commands from the Casablanca Remote and you can do whatever with C4 App.
Bond is only available in the states and he Has requested 230v so my guessing is he’s outside of the US

That would be disappointing for those of us who have the v1...
I’m sure they’ll still work

Not a fan then!!

Took a punt on an EBay listing for spare/ not working only £30. Managed to fix it quite easily but it came with no Phoenix connectors, is this a dead cause being that it’s EOL or can the be purchased still?

All due respect, it was instantaneous with both my iPhone and iPad before the major update. No changes were made to my system. Only to the app and hardware software. No doubt it’s possible. No idea how complicated it might be.
Your talking about the very old and outdated looking OS2 mobile app vs the new up to date OS3 app. I agree the old app was a lot quicker to load but if a 5 second load is the price to pay foe all the improvements with OS3 then i will live with it.

curious to know @South Africa C4 user how long it took him to do this? ie to change channel or zigbee server does everything have to be added again or was it quite painless?

If you don't have engraved buttons with backlighting enabled, then it can in certain situations be useful for the button LEDs to be lit whether the load is on or off ot make it easy to find the keypad and identify the button layout in the dark.
Exactly, see not that much of a weirdo!
well maybe a little on colour selection

Will give you full search capabilities with Sonos if you have a Nucleus
Does this mean you can search within Sonos playlists using this Gary?

I have this absolute powerhouse of an amp just sitting around does anyone know if a driver exists? Had a quick chat with my dealer and he was sceptical.

The Megaman range I've used offer useable dimming right down about 4-5% and then max out at about 70% on the uncalibrated 0-100 dimming scale of the C4 dimmers.
Thought I'd buy a couple of these to try out and have to say really impressed with the range of dimming. Opted for the Daylights and the colour is epic also,
Great recommendation

I totally get that and tbf being in the UK I don’t think I understand the scale of C4 in the US.
i manage within an engineering company and some of the most knowledgeable reps/ account managers that I deal with only sell to me a minuscule amount of business over a course of a yr but they are always there when I need advise. I have other suppliers that we buy a ridiculous amount off but aren’t the best technically.
i suppose in a world of so many companies trying to get involved in “smart home”, as an end user I would want c4 to get bigger so the more people plugging it the better

If a dealer isn't actively working on systems, they aren't getting the exposure and experience necessary to stay current. Inexperienced dealers don't help grow the brand.
I totally get that but surely they hold workshops? Also you could work on a shit load of installs but programming only. Just because you don’t sell big money doesn’t mean your not working on systems does it?

I'm not sure what we can answer here for you.
Does Control4 have a minimum sales volume to retain dealership? Yes.
I’m just curious as an end user why there is a minimum sales target? Does It cost C4 anything to have a dealer? Are C4 just not happy more people have the potential to sell their product and grow the brand?
want to stress not a criticism just curious as seems a bit backward.

I’m pretty sure this help breakdown was only to do with lighting. Basically Instead of having to say “Alexa turn on kitchen lights” you can just say “ Alexa turn on lights” enabling the command after the wake word to be shorter.

Wake up agent is now available with OS3 So I believe the main would be intercom but the response time of t3 would be a lot quicker especially on wake up. If money was not a factor then native would always be the way to go 1000% For me where money is a major factor then iPads work well ( not perfect) for a fraction of the cost.
