  1. Problem resolved. For the benefit of future readers... my problem was a failed switch which happened to service the Bus Ethernet Gateway. My installer put in a small 8 port switch in the rack but it was wrapped around all of the cables and not visible. So I was troubleshooting the wrong switch until I noticed this small one. Moved the cable to a working port, all came back to normal.
  2. This is an old thread, but I just suffered the same thing. The difference is that I lost power to my controller, I/O extender, and switch, not the panelized lighting panel since they are on a different set of circuits. After the power outage my keypads stopped working. Coincidentally (or not), my I/O extender lost connectivity. I moved the cable to the I/O extender to a new port on the same switch and it worked fine. So I have a hunch that the switch might have lost some ports. Because the switch and the I/O extender are in the same rack it was easy to do this. I have no way to trace the cable for the panelized lighting without purchasing a toner and climbing into the attic. Since it is night time now, I'm hoping that it is something else that I can resolve another way. Configuration: OS 3.2.1 EA-5 controller panelized lighting Wired Configurable Keypads Symptoms: Keypads don't respond to presses indicator lights are illuminated on the keypads Lights work via remotes and app Troubleshooting steps already tried: reset Bus Ethernet Gateway by both pressing the reset button on BEG and power cycling circuit breaker Nothing on BEG looks out of the norm reset IP address in Composer (not pingable but shows up as online in Network connections, also does not show in IP address scan, strange??) rebooted controller (EA-5) rebooted zigbee server (EA-1) What else can I try?
  3. If there is, I am not aware. I would have to defer to others.
  4. This is exactly what I was thinking. I had the same problem yesterday. But by copying in the autogenerated password into my webgui I was able to log in. I was not aware of the new password scheme until I read this thread. Might need to remove driver, reset DS2, etc as outlined by @cyknight in that thread. I have the same problem too, but I was still able to get in using MS Edge browser. Chrome and Safari both blocked it without being able to override. So I don't think those two are related since I am now able to do everything. However, I would still like to figure out the root cause of the certificate errors. I can't find much documentation on what needs to be done (and to be honest, certificates are not something I've worked on before). I know what they are, etc, but not where to get one, how to install it, etc.
  5. Just to clarify, did you use the autogenerated password, or change it to something personal?
  6. I have a DS2 mini for the front door. For whatever reason, people don't seem realize how to ring the doorbell and knock on the door instead. What are you all putting on the white label next to the doorbell. I feel like I need to make a tag with an arrow that says doorbell--->. But that just seems silly to me. Thoughts?
  7. This is the first time I've seen mention of LG. Is LG on the roadmap for splash-tiles overlay support? LG does have a native screen sharing using Miracast so I'm hopeful.
  8. Nothing specific. I am just asking to see how this will age as new tech comes out and if you are offering continued updates or is this a one-time deal. One example of something missing is PS5. I like the look you have created.
  9. Hi, This is an old thread but I see that the icon page is still alive. @appliedautomationAre you actively updating and adding new icons? Does a purchase include access to new icons or is it a one time deal?
  10. Thanks again for the clarification.
  11. Never mind, it wasn't apparent to me on the surface. I now see that there is an inside unit and an outdoor unit. Strange that it isn't just a wifi client, but it is what it is.
  12. Thanks for sharing this. Prompted me to reconsider installing it. Can you elaborate on this comment? I'm not sure I understand what this means.
  13. yes, I do use all channels (non-bridged). I have plenty of rack space and power so I don't mind going less dense if that works better. I'll look at AudioControl. Thanks.
  14. Lost my second amp this week. What are some more reliable alternatives to the 8-zone amp from Triad?
  15. Here is the situation I'm contemplating: I would like to program all rooms to have a Netflix (or similar) button favorited on the Home Screen for all rooms. However, I don't want each room to open up the same Netflix stream when pressed. If I have multiple Rokus, is it possible to have a single favorite for Netflix in each room, but have it select from the group of Roku mini apps for each new request? I don't want to have a 1:1 match of Roku for each room. Instead, it should just select the next available Roku that is available. I can't imagine more than 4 streams of Netflix at any given time, but it could be from any one of 15 rooms. Thoughts on how to accomplish this?
  16. I have the Panamax 4315. I am trying to find a way to measure each outlet's individual power usage. So far I can only view usage across the entire PDU. I see that Wattbox has this capability. Does anyone know if Panamax can do this or if there is another way other than BlueBolt? Thanks
  17. Hi, I was trying to log into my doorstations (DS2) but get an error about an invalid certificate. I've tried to find documentation on how to resolve it, but was unsuccessful. I have 2 door stations and both generate the same error. Both Safari and Chrome refuse to let me connect. Fortunately Edge allows me to bypass the error and get in. Does anyone know why this is and what can be done to resolve it? NET::ERR_CERT_INVALID
  18. One of my touch panels broke so I am temporarily using another one. For some reason, the touch panel keeps reverting back to the old room automatically. I can't seem to find a setting to keep it on the same room. I'm sure it is a simple setting, I just can't find it. Any suggestions?
  19. Has anyone successfully connected a DS2 to the Hikvision NVR? My cameras are ONVIF, but I can't seem to figure it out.
  20. At this point probably 6 months. Couldn’t get the dealer to come to house due to covid and I was away prior to that. What is a typical grace period for their flexibility? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. One of my triad 8 zone amps failed. Of course it failed a few days after the warranty expired. I'm very surprised that the amp failed as it is rarely used. The problem was first noticed when a hissing noise started through all the speakers. Unplugging the amp made it stop (of course). Plugging it back in, the noise was gone but eventually returned. The lights on the front of the unit were flashing on and off. A few questions on how I should proceed. 1) are these amps known to be faulty? 2) is repairing an option? 3) is there an alternative that is highly recommended (and hopefully cheaper) since this is just an amp and not really part of the C4 automation?
  22. Does this work on both OS 2 and 3? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
