I don't remember when it happened, but at some point Control4 started saving the shuffle setting with the playlist. So I was able to remove all of the workarounds. Now the playlists shuffle by default. Make sure shuffle is on when you save the playlist, and it should be enabled (and cause a reshuffle) the next time you start it.
For the longest time saving the playlist with shuffle enabled worked perfectly for me but sometime over the last few months this stopped working. I’ve tried re-adding the playlist and reinstalling the Spotify connect driver. I’m not sure what to try next. Any thoughts?

I was under the impression that Savant recently announced native Apple Music integration. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Does anyone know where I could purchase a Carrier SAM module new or used? They have been discontinued by Carrier and I have not seen any on eBay. Perhaps someone that migrated to using the drivers no longer needs their SAM module and wishes to part with it? I was planning to put this in the Wanted section but because I am new to the forum, I have not made enough postings to be able to use the Wanted section. Any thoughts on being able to locate a SAM would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry for the duplicate response. For some reason I was unable to edit the one above. Out of curiosity, have you considered the cloud driver? Before the driver released I was also looking for some SAM modules but I never got my hands on any. I wish the driver offered some kind of serial or local control, but from what I've heard the cloud control is pretty solid.

Look for Sperry West (also branded Spyder) cover cameras - these are commonly carried by ADI in north america. They should have the ability to turn of remote management and you can force set a blank or fake DNS so internet access is unavailable to begin with (alterntatively, just connect it direct to an NVR....)
They'll have both analogue and IP versions - I mention that because a lot of resellers seem to put all covert cameras under analogue, eventhough they carry IP ones.....
Thank you! This is exactly what I’m looking for. Do you have any hands on experience with these cameras?

My issue is that I am looking for a motion detector style camera. One that looks like an old school motion detector, not a camera. Like the one I linked above.

What makes that a reputable camera?
I wouldn’t say it is but I do know that it works properly with my NVR and it allows one to turn off cloud access, so it should keep all traffic on the local network (although I don’t really trust that honestly). Do you have any recommendations?

Hey guys. I am looking to purchase a POE motion detector camera to pull into my Luma NVR. I am trying to avoid buying something that is not secure but I can’t find anything with a reputable company behind the camera. I understand that basically all cameras are using some kind of Chinese internals in them. A camera that only has access to the local network seems like a safe solution to me. I attached one that I am considering below.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Hey guys. I am nearly finished with my backyard audio install, but I am wondering if there is a way for me to create a "DJ input." All of my audio is currently sourced from my Core5 Controller and distributed through a triad audio matrix. Would it be as simple as bringing the DJ's audio directly into one of the digital or analog audio inputs on my controller? The goal is to have the DJ use my backyard speakers rather than his own. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

Recently had the Hayward Omnilogic driver installed. It works fine, just very minimal interface. I like using the Hayward Omnilogic app for the iphone more. Very slick and responsive.
What features are missing in the driver?

My dealer recently installed a Triad 8 Source 8 Zone Audio Matrix V2 TS-AMS8-V2 for my pool house extension. I made a few changes and now we need a 16 zone matrix. The matrix is unboxed and has been powered up but otherwise new. PM me for price.

I will be getting Hayward Omnilogic soon. I know they have a driver but I believe it is only cloud based. DOes anyone have any experience with Hayward Omnilogic integration?

@Cyknight that’s very helpful. Thank you. Are there any issues mixing EA and Core series controllers in a setup like this? I currently have an EA5 as my primary controller and so I am considering upgrading to a core 5 and using the EA5 as the second controller. Thanks again.

I am planning on doing the same thing. @msgreenf What sync issues are you thinking about? Any advice on how to best go about this is greatly appreciated.

Although it is obviously not cost effective, would it be suitable to add a second controller and dedicate it to the second matrix? Allowing control4 to eliminate delay automatically

I currently have a maxed out triad 24 x 24 matrix feeding three triad 8 zone amps. The only sources that need to be fully distributed throughout my system are the four audio outputs on my EA5. What is the best way to add zones to this without creating delay? All help/advice is appreciated.

Eight of my zones are 300' away in a guest house connected only by IP. There's an EA-5 there with all its outputs connected to the 8X8 matrix. Local sources are also connected to matrix. And I run an output from that matrix to the EA-5 audio input to give me a reverse path back to main house. This allows me (pretty much) any-to-audio audio routing of main house zones to guest house zones and vice-versa. Want to listen to audio from TV#3 in guest house in Bedroom #4 in main house? No problem.
I am considering doing this, but my concern is with the possibility for delay. Do you have any delay with this setup?

IP control would be a dream

@msgreenf is there a workaround that you have been using? Thanks!
