  1. This is a great update! It adds support for PDU Pro too which is a great addition and works perfectly! Many thanks to @Cinegration for continuing to develop these drivers and for their excellent support for those drivers!
  2. Thank you Matt - I’ll look into that angle
  3. Thank you - that does make sense as being the solution. Our integrator identified this when they were working on it on Friday and they increased the delay to about 1500ms which seemed to improve things. I had seen this before but hadn't been aggressive enough in adjusting the setting. That being said, I've been testing this all weekend and it doesn't fully solve the problem - even pushing the delay to the max of 5000ms sometimes the beginning is still cut off........so still testing unfortunately
  4. So far really liking it too! I love the fly in menu addition (thanks to @Amr for the reminder to power cycle for them to appear!) makes it more functional, looks slick and modern too. The free switch bug fixes seem good so far - overall very nice!
  5. Thanks to everyone for your suggestions - I'm going to reach out to our integrator and try to work through these with them (including suggesting these solutions suggested) and will update here.
  6. We just had our Josh.AI system activated yesterday - core, micro, and 3 nanos for now. We have noticed that the Josh voice response is "clipped" at the beginning or not heard at all if the response is short. For example: you first ask Josh: "What time is it?" and you'll hear "......7:20 in the morning" rather than "The time is 7:20 in the morning" - if you ask it a second time you hear the whole thing: "The time is 7:20 in the morning." This happens only on the first response made in a room and not again for a while after the last response. So I suspect this has something to do with timing between the Josh system telling the Audio Matrix (Triad AMS-24) to route the audio and telling the amps (all C4-16AMP3B) to turn that room's audio on - before the audio response is played by the Josh core. I've tried playing with the Voice Cast Response Delay setting (no delay to 150ms) and that didn't seem to fix the issue. Does anyone know if there's a C4 setting (or a Josh setting) that will fix this?
  7. Well, just received this. Looks like Works with Nest integrations are being disconnected September 29th. I assume this means the Nest Master Driver integration for Nest Protect will end - wonder if it will also kill the Nest Thermostat integration or if that's a different program? Either way, sorry to see they're doing this - looks like I'll be replacing all our Nest Protects with detectors that integrate with our security system. In the long run that's better but it is annoying to be forced to do that rather than do it when the detectors are EOL after 10 years. Here's the email notification: "Thank you for being a valued customer and a part of the Nest family. ‌ Works with Nest was created in 2014 as a way for other smart home device makers to take what Nest knows and personalize your experience with their products, such as turning off the device maker’s smart lights when Nest detects you’re away. The connected home has evolved significantly since then, and we’ve implemented numerous updates to enhance how you interact with and manage devices with Google Home. ‌ In 2019, we made the decision to eventually retire Works with Nest to unify our efforts around third-party connected home devices under a single platform for developers to build features for a more helpful home – with a focus on compatibility, security, and privacy. The goal is to simplify the developer experience and give you more control over how your data is shared. ‌ We’re reaching out to let you know that after extending support for Works with Nest for the last few years, it will wind down and no longer work as of September 29, 2023. ‌ What this means for you. Through September 28, 2023, all current Works with Nest connections will remain active, and you can continue to use Works with Nest as you do now. In the coming months, you’ll be able to use a script editor to create advanced home automations that will offer new features and capabilities. We’re also working closely with our partners to provide replacement integrations where possible. Learn about the changes and options available to you. Starting September 29, 2023, the connections will no longer work and you will lose access to them. We’re committed to helping you and minimizing disruptions. If you need help, our support agentsare standing by. ‌ The Nest team"
  8. That’s an interesting approach - do you have one account signed into each of those? If that’s the case what happens when two rooms are trying to play two separate xm streams using the same account? Or do you have an account per room? Asking because I’m looking to modify our setup. We do something similar to what you described with the streaming services on the Rokus, but right now for Sirius I have two xm drivers in the project exposed to all navigators each with their own account so you can stream two things at a time. This works fine if you use a navigator to play a station and you know that someone is already playing something so you pick the other driver. But we also have keypad buttons cycling through presets which are linked to one driver. Looking to change our setup though because as people are using the system more it is not uncommon for me to have Sirius driver 1 running in my office and then my wife presses a keypad button to play a preset in a room on the other side of the house and it changes both rooms to that preset. I’ve thought about solving this by using complicated programming that would pick one driver or the other depending on what is already playing but this would be a pain to program everywhere. Really wish this driver would be updated to support more than one streaming account and automatically use which ever isn’t already being used…..
  9. Sorry this took a while to check - it did work! I need to add controller reboot to my checklist - sounds like others are having some issues too so maybe this was related to their issues. Wanted to update the thread in case others have this problem - a reboot is worth a shot! Thanks @South Africa C4 user for the suggestion!
  10. Thanks Matt I see how what I wrote wasn’t clear. What I meant to say was that the TS set to auto answer doesn’t ring and nothing happens - no call is connected at all it just sits there.
  11. I think it would be most useful to be able to check on other properties while you’re at another property. For instance at a ski resort property for the weekend in winter, or a summer home for a few weeks and you want to check on the primary residence. Or you’re at the primary residence and you want to check on the other properties.
  12. I may have found a bug with the intercom - wondering if anyone can replicate this. Running latest OS 3.3.2: on the TS you set intercom settings for the room to "auto answer" then call the room from any other room intercom....it never rings. Once you turn "auto answer" off the problem goes away. I don't see any other settings on the TS or composer that would apply here. In previous OS versions "auto answer" for this room did work properly. Communication Agent shows everything working and setup properly. Can't think of anything else other than a bug. Anyone else seeing this?
  13. It would be a nice upgrade to be able to handle multiple homes with one account - it should work like multiple buildings currently does - only it would allow you to back out beyond one property and select another property. I would be willing to bet that if you have one C4 system the odds are good that you have more than one property with C4.
  14. I do something very similar with our satellite internet dish (for backup Internet). It has a dish heater on it that heats the dish to melt snow off. The dish heater is plugged into a controlled outlet. Then I use the Open Weather driver to program off the "current snow" variable to start a 2 hour "dish heater" timer so it says on for a bit to fully melt everything and doesn't cycle too much every time the snowfall level fluctuates. So programming off "current snow" variable in Open Weather I programmed this: If OpenWeather -> CURRENT_SNOW GREATER THAN 0 If Timer "Dish Heater Heating" is not running ->Start Timer "Dish Heater Heating" Then the "Dish Heater Heating" timer is just a 2 hour timer and programed to turn on the "Dish Heater" outlet when the timer starts, and when the timer expires it turns the outlet off. For your use case maybe you'd want to play with the length of the timer and things but this might be a good starting point for you. Hope this is helpful - good luck! Would be interested in what product you're using for the gutter/downspout heaters - I haven't heard of those but could see the value so will have to look into that.
  15. No problem. You may want to try checking the firmware version on the lock itself to confirm it is compatible with the driver. I posted something about an issue I had with a lock that I think is older than the one you're having trouble with so this may not be the issue but worth checking. Here's that post for reference:
  16. Wanted to provide a quick note for folks about something I just noticed in programming with the Assure 2 lock. Still stand by everything I've said earlier about these locks - they're fantastic. That being said, I just noticed this "quirk" - not all device variables are populating so it is worth testing your programming off the variable if you're doing that too. For instance, I have programming that sends me a report about device battery status when a device reports a low battery or a battery level drops too low. In programming this, I discovered that the Assure 2 lock makes available several variables (Battery Status; Battery Level; Last Action Description; Lock Status; Last Unlocked By; and Long Pressed) but doesn't populate them all (only Battery Level and Last Unlocked By). So if you're programming and want to include a variable (like Battery Status or Battery Level) be aware that the former won't work but the later will.
  17. Just wanted to bump this in case anyone who may know hasn't seen it yet....
  18. What model Yale lock is this? I see that your "Module Firmware Version" and "Hardware Version" fields are not populating. When that happened with my Yale Assure 2 locks I needed to use the Yale app to connect via bluetooth to the lock and update the firmware. Then I used the module firmware update under the driver actions tab and, with both of those firmwares updated I didn't have any more issues. I'm running 3.3.2 though so it may not be this but worth considering
  19. Totally agree - this is my favorite voice driver too - works great!
  20. Unless I'm missing it, the generic Lutron driver doesn't seem to report battery status/level. I'd like to program off a low battery event to notify that I need to replace the batteries on our shades. Does anyone know if this is supported by the generic driver and, if not, if a third party driver supports it?
  21. I don't have a way to test it but I would assume you can swap the zwave module in just as easily. Would strongly encourage using the C4 zigebee module over zwave - as long as your C4 mesh is good where the lock will be. I previously had zwave schlage locks integrated through vera and they were just awful(despite a strong zwave mesh) constantly losing signal etc - no deep integration like lock management etc. No if the core controllers allow zwave locks maybe you will be ok if you can go that route but I don't see a reason not to go with C4 zigbee given the proven stability and feature set if you're starting from scratch - locks are clearly one of those things you really want/need to have rock solid
  22. No problem! Yes I can confirm that you can buy the "non-wifi" version of the lock and insert a C4 card into that (that's what I did) - no need to buy the wifi version.
  23. I can’t speak to other models that use the Yale Access app, but I can report definitively that, with the Assure 2 locks with C4 zigbee module installed, the app can continue communicating with the lock (you can setup and manage auto lock from the app in this way - as well as a number of settings, lock firmware upgrade, etc) as long as it is in Bluetooth range of the lock. I believe the Assure 2 has a built in Bluetooth radio which does not deactivate when the C4 module is in there and in this way allows advanced features and lock control through the app. Really like the Yale Assure 2 and C4 module combo - C4 integration remains perfect totally reliable, user management and all C4 features work great!
  24. Wow - that's a great update - thank you!
