R_Willis
Isn't this driver supposed to self-heal on IP address changes? Mine doesnt seem to. Is it a manual setting that needs turned on? Using all Kasa devices. Outdoor dual plug KP400, KL130, and multiple HS103s. Thanks.
Andrew luecke
If broadcasting is set up correctly on the network, and you have the agent, it should..If Discovery is working, self-healing should too, provided you're using V2
Andrew luecke
That being said though, its always recommended to be using static IP's (either via DHCP or otherwise).
R_Willis
I do have v2 and it does self setup pretty well...but second or third time this has happened. I will reserve them all IPs and hope that works better. Thanks!
msgreenf
I have about 27 in my house and have never had that problem before with no reservations
Andrew luecke
I have seen a case where Self-healing broke a few months later, but it seemed related to the network broadcasts breaking on the network itself (for whatever reason). We also have a fix in the beta for a case where the controller for whatever reason, doesn't have an IP (and not sure why). Put the main controller on a static IP too and that might help. But the beta has all kinds of problems currently which are still being worked through unfortunately (so we recommend people use the stable of the TPLink KASA lights at the moment) msgreenf
Time2Jet
Has anyone experienced issues with the ALS agent and TP-Link bulbs not turning all of the way off? @Andrew luecke

If you're using V1 drivers though, it could be worth upgrading to V2 first https://chowmain.software/for-integrators/technical-support
