twmoonly
I have a DS-2CD2142FWD-I and was wondering if I could trigger events off of the motion detection? And if so how do I program this?
konieczn
Following, I also have these cameras and have wondered the same.
twmoonly
From my research it might be possible to connect a wire to the alarm output and trigger that output based on motion but need to test this
annex⁴
Our Hikvision driver has working event triggers. https://annex4.link/drivers/hikvision-camera
twmoonly
How do you program automation via HTTP stream? Do you have any documentation?
Rexabyte
I just pushed out an update to the driver that includes the missing documentation. It covers how to program against the events.https://annex4.link/drivers/hikvision-camera?changelog=latest
twmoonly
Can I pull the stream off of the NVR if connected directly to it?

RebelPro
Following. I'm curious to know the answer and how this will work. For now, I am stuck. I have a DS-7616NI-VP, but it's latest firmware doesn't support SDDP, so for now, I'm stuck. If anyone has any advice, I'm all ears. Thanks. It appears on my devices but it is not populating any device information in composer system design.
Rexabyte
Select basic, and re-enter the ip or port. It should pull back device information.
twmoonly
camera wont let me select basic, its currently on digest
Rexabyte
In this menu you only have 'digest' as an option? 'basic' or 'digest/basic' will work.

sdmat
I have a Hikvision NVR with 5 camera's. The NVR has the custom firmware for C4 that I obtained from Hikvision support. My local network is 10.0.1.X and the NVR makes it's own network on 192.168.254.X. How do I integrate them? My dealer wants me to be able to login to each camera so he can pull the individual feeds into C4. I don't see how to do that. Any advice? lippavisual
The Nvr is on your 10.x.x.x network. youd use the NvR driver (if one is available for your model). within the driver, it will pull in the streams from camera channel. IE: 10.x.x.x/cameras/channel1 and so on.
avcontrol4
When I view the cameras on the C4 app they show as SD by default. How do I change them to default HD? This was the same on the Hikvision app but their was a toggle to change from SD to HD. Thanks

And if so how do I program this? is it connected to NVR? if yes, so you need to: 1. go to NVR settings and enable build in NVR's relay. 2. connect relay to controller's sensor 3. do proper programming It needs to be done properly, there are some small tricks with connection, but I made it working. I made Cameras motion sensor option turns on lights on patio. after electrician "forgot" to wire 3 way switch on one of the projects, so I did it in that way.
