Nehsmit
Hi all, Im having a problem in a particular room with the default volume. Its only in that room that anytime I start music it goes to volume 100. Its crazy. Ive localized it to 1 wall switch that if I tap it to turn up or down the volume it also goes straight up to 100. Can you tell me where I can change this default setting? Thanks in advance.
mstafford388
You probably have programming on that button to start volume up instead of pulse volume up (or better yet bind it to the volume up command on the room control driver)
OceanDad
Are you using the Room Control Driver ? It will be your friend here. msgreenf
WhyPhy
I have a similar problem. All of my rooms have the default volume set to 60%. But when I start an Airplay session, some rooms start at 0% volume every time, while others start at 60%. I've gone through every room and triple-checked and the default volumes are all set the same and there is no programming for volume levels in any room. Is there some other setting I'm missing? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Cyknight
Driver may not be set to 'ignore device volume' (this allows volume control via the phone's controls vs C4/app, but ignores default volumes last time i tried it, which was admittedly a long time ago)

It seems like a major miss to ignore the room default volume. An amp volume level of zero makes device volume irrelevant. Thanks for the info. I’ll try disabling the option to use source device volume.
