Can end users add mini-apps?

Are end users able to add mini-apps?  For example, if you have a Roku and subscribe to Netflix, can you add the Netflix mini-app to your Roku?

This would be analogous to how an end user can add music services, like Spotify, using the Add Music function under listen.

but with roku you can take a "channel" and make it a favorite to your navigator

That's what I thought - but didn't they make a change recently that would facilitate this in a recent OS upgrade?  Something to do with being able to add drivers programatically or something like that.

APIs changed and I think if i remember right in the roku driver there is an action that allows you to add all mini drivers

As msgreenf says, you can add *all* mini apps within the Roku driver, but there's no way to add just a single specific mini app from the Roku driver.

But If you add them all then you can use the navigator settings to hide what you don't want

Aren't there dozens?  Does it only add the ones available in your geography, as in doesn't add Hulu outside of the US, does add Crave in Canada, etc.  I am guessing that it isn't smart enough to do that.

it adds mini drivers for what is _actually_ installed on your Roku that has mini drivers

When you say mini app what exactly are you referring to?

the quick launch button on C4 remote or touchscreen?

If yes, how can I add them through HE?
