  1. Not sure why you would do that. Why not connect to the camera direct? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I purchased a recluse driver from these guys and it was simple and easy! Great service. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I really like this concept! Brainstorming good use cases now Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  4. Do you have composer to see if the drive is showing on or offline? Are you using guest account? Authenticated? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Could it be a problem using NFS? I don't believe I am using Nfs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I find it odd that others have problems with media scans. For me they work 100%. I have a scheduled scan (every3 days) and a custom button for on demand scans. I scan my drobo which is connected to an apple airport via USB. Then I have it ip mapped in composer. Works greAt. Only problem I run into time to time is nas wake if I try to play music without waking the nas. The first album fails. Bit the drive wakes and I pick it again and all is fine. 9. I have a custom button and then there is an action for media scan. It's only 1 line of programming
  10. Here is am idea. I have a custom navigator button to start a media scan and I have email alerts setup. This means I can run media scan w o opening composer. I would recommend this path.
  11. 30 min scan is pretty good! my system takes 2 hours to do a scan! Thats with an HC250 and a TON of music. But it's not a big deal - i do it from midnight - ~2am. There is no way to force a scan of a sub, sub folder that I am aware of. You can always manually add it in Composer {any edition}
  12. this makes me want to get a sonos! Now to try to find one on a deal...
  13. is it possible that you had static ips on your old router and its in a different subnet?
  14. you have to get the grill off as the sensor has to go below the grill and right over the sensor...
  15. Problem was finding the it sensor. Had to remove the grill but it's working great now.
  16. just tried that single ir cable and it still doesnt give me volume control. I see it send commands but the Vizio isnt accepting them. Is there anyway to take a universal remote code and program that into c4?
  17. I can try that..the IR split is working for the tv..which makes it interesting
  18. IR split was made on site. I can't find the sweet spot. I tried with a flashlight and I am pretty sure I am in the right spot. It is a Vizio VHT215 and the only thing Vizio can tell me is use remote code 31517 or 1517 which really mean nothing, as far as I know, in the c4 world...
  19. Split IR. The IR is lighting but the soundbar isn't recognizing the codes.
  20. we just modded the tv driver and learned the codes as alternate codes...still did not work
