Hello. I did the updates today and everything is working now for all of my zones. The C4 alarm gui is showing all the zones open and close as they should so really happy with the way its working. On the update, I did it myself. I found a download of DLS 5 and was able to connect from my main PC with no cables via IP through the TL280 communicator. I was able to download the firmware updates for my TL280, my control panel (HS2032) and my 3 keypads. I wouldn't say the DLS software was intuitive but I able to figure it out eventually. I think the comment that your dealer has to pay for the downloads seems to be false as I was able to download with no cost whatsoever. It was though very slow to download the firmware for my 5 devices... It took close to 3 hours to do so my guess is that any dealer is not going to want to sit around your house for that long and maybe thats why they discouraged it. But, rest assured you can flash it completely on your own with no dealer intervention if you want to take the time to figure it out. Thanks again Dave for the post to trigger the upgrade for me!

That's awesome! So when you see the status, have you tried to open and close of the higher number zones and your navigator picks this up?

good to know about the remote patch in but I installed my system myself so probably a hassle to find a dealer to do it. Not sure I will do it until it's verified that it fixes the additional zone issue. Aside from that my C4 integration has been pretty solid.

Don't you have to be a dealer to get DLS and have a DLS account?

I was told that the new switches have a stronger plastic loop so probably not an issue as msgreenf said. C4 is helping me fix the covers as mentioned above. Really impressed with C4's customer service. Many thanks.

Hi thanks for the reply. I have no problem with them fitting properly... They just break way too often. I haven't had a keycap or button break, its really just the rockers...

Just curious other's opinions... I have probably 20 C4 light switches in my house and in 3 years i have had probably 8 need to be replaced as one of the little holding tabs breaks off. Is this normal? I can't recall ever having a builder grade $5 rocker switch break so this is raising eyebrows of the design of the little tabs. They do seem very delicate and prone to breaking. Thanks!

I figured it out... I had the wrong port for the http snapshot. Was using port 7443 and it was port 7080. Case closed thank god.

I still have been struggling to get the snapshot to work for my unifi cameras. Video feed works perfect. If I get into the camera directly, then a simple IP address eg http://192.168.1.1/snap.jpeg pulls a snaphot perfectly from anywhere in my network. problem is the generic driver automatically pulls the IP from the NVR which is the correct IP needed for the RTSP feed. The snapshot wants a URL which the driver automatically populates with the IP of the NVR. A bit frustrating but if I will able to put two different IP addresses, one for the NVR for the video feed and one for the camera directly for the snapshot, it would work. Any other thoughts how to work around this?

It appears not easy to update the firmware for the card. I guess you have to be a dealer with their DSC software and plug into the card onsite?

I thought all of the TL280 had an IP connection and that's the driver I used in my setup. I'm out and cant check my driver until this weekend but didn't recall that it was listed Beta...

Yes, but i do have something weird happening where i try to generate a new API code and it does but when I hit save it reverts to prior API code. I'm wondering if I have a gremlin there...
