It's not a T3 vs T4 or a combo option: they're working just fine for me here (literaly, I can see a T3 and a T4 from where I'm typing this, and both are using photo screensaver).

This part I don't know about BTW - I'm talking about the photo screensaver working as such.

Right? Same here, if they don't work I get complaints quicker than if a TV doesn't work.

Anyway, i did have a small issues after a recent update, where photos were frozen and Composer was throwing similar errors - in my case the USB stick that holds my pictures was in unknown stae - i ONLY rebooted the contreoller that had it inserted and things came back - might be worth a try if that's how you're doing it.

What is your storage setup ... using a NAS?

Thanks! I m using a USB stick and have tried rebooting the controller (hosting the stick).  No luck.  What is weird is that the date screensaver is also not working on the T4s.  Nor is a custom screensaver using album artwork (and that is Tidal streaming) so basically whenever one of the T4s goes into screensaver mode, it goes to a blank screen.  And yet the T3s work perfectly. Quite bizarre!

  2. I’m seeing a few issues on the screensaver agent on the latest OS. Anyone else seeing this? Any suggestions.

At both my residences, I can’t view the photos in the Media tab for the Screensaver.  I get an invalid location message.  Which is nonsense as I can in fact add photos (via the media tab) and they get added to the screensavers and I see them appearing on my touchscreen.

Much more seriously, at my Beach house, I have both T3s and T4s and following the first hard reboot after the latest OS update from a few weeks ago, the T4s have stopped showing any screensavers. When a screensaver is present (be it photos, custom with album artwork or date and time), the T4s simply show a blank screen.

I have tried the obvious things (rebooting the T4s, a complete rack reboot and refreshing navigators) - none of these work.  I also checked an EA controller OSD and the screensaver is working fine there.  As I have more than one T4 in the setup, it can’t  / shouldn’t be hardware.  I haven’t checked the other AA and core controllers but assume they all work fine.

Would really appreciate any suggestions as I did the reboot this morning and I already have family members moaning about the “digital photo frames” not working.  One doesn’t realise how cool it is until it vanishes.

As I’ve not had this problem at my main residence (which also has T4s in the setup), I have to assume that something about my Beach House project is unique and creating the issue in OS3.4.1.  The only thing I can think of is the fact that I have T3s and T4s.  I don’t have any T3s at my main residence.  Either that or some software patch was pushed in the last few days and broke my T4s and I will find the same issue when I go back to my main residence if I do a reboot…

    TIA

There is new ts2 firmware that I don't believe we've applied to your system. Since we haven't updated you in a while. I would also look at that

Why not set the driver to auto update? I’m pretty sure that the DS2 driver is one of the C4 database drivers that supports this feature?  Not that I am necessarily an advocate of this…

  4. I have a custom button that reboots my DS2 using programming.  It works perfectly.  I am not at home right now to check how the programming works but there is no external hardware involved so it is either a reboot command on the DS2 driver itself or one of these controller reboot drivers (everyone had them at one stage - HouseLogix, Annex4 via their Link driver, Driver Central via its cloud driver etc.) using the IP address to reboot it.  I will check when I can.

  5. A couple of thoughts:

    1. Make sure you don’t have a default volume set for the room if you are using the AVRs default volume.

    2. Similarly make sure you don’t have a default volume set via a room control driver.

    3. Try changing the default volume on the AVR. I had a similar problem to you where (for some reason), using a default starting volume of 50 on my Denon AVR, it was displaying as 49.5 and it was always 0.5 out from Control4.  This has never really bothered me.  But I fiddled today and seem to have fixed it.  I changed the AVR default starting volume to 60 (I also enabled max volume at 80 - which I had not done previously).   Everything worked perfectly thereafter.  I suspect that the issue and I may be totally wrong relates to the AVR range being 0-98 and not 0-100 and the AVR does som funny calculation when setting the default starting volume and occasionally gets the rounding wrong.  I am not sure if that is on what it sends to C4 or what it displays but I actually suspect the latter as I was seeing 49.5 , 50.5 etc.  now I see 60, 61 etc and can go all the way up or down without a problem.

  6. I had a few similar issues after updating to the second release of 3.4.1 but got rid of them by doing a hard reboot of all secondary controllers.  I still have one media related issue (documented elsewhere) but don’t think it is related to your problem in anyway.

I also experienced a corruption (impacting digital media) on one of my secondary controllers following the update to the first release of OS 3.4.1 and my dealer had to reflash the OS on that controller.

  7. As far as I know, there is no way to do this.

I was also an Apple Music fan and eventually moved to Tidal in order to get decent integration with C4.  My view is that Tidal and Deezer have the best integration.  Although some people really like the Spotify integration.

If you want real flexibility without programming too much, linking Josh into C4 is said to be a great option.

Would just be way cooler if is said 12.9v or 80% or something in the middle of the button along with the colours.

This is exactly what the bNet Solutions (bIcons driver mentioned above does.  Set up the driver, choose the low voltage battery icon set and link it to the relevant variable.  Then you will have exactly what you are looking for. See my generator battery voltage of 27.5 volts below.

There's one in the online database.

If Google translate is working properly then the OP is saying that he has already tried this but cannot make the connections from his KNX setup.  I can understand that as I use the driver you mention in some cases and the Yatun one in others (as it is more flexible).
