Only issues I have ever had was when the IP address of the primary controller the file was stored on changed.

1. Why is the builder installing in-ceiling speakers for the LCR channels? They should be in the wall pointing towards the listening position and not in the ceiling pointing at the floor away from the seating position, it will sound terrible and being so far off-axis from the speakers will result in a significant loss of high frequency detail.
2. In-ceiling surround channels is acceptable in some circumstances so as long as they are positioned correctly relative to the seating position they will be ok.
3. For a good quality 5.1 channel AVR I would look no further than the Anthem MRX540 or NAD T758 V3i. Both of these have superb quality amplification and a vey effective room correction software too. -

I did not restore the cover art as would take too long over remote connection, but they can be easily restored or rebuilt if required.

Just use Jesse Smith’s awesome IR driver and issues like this just won’t happen.
I’m a big fan of IP control whenever possible but there are some products I just wouldn’t trust it to not get broken and this is one of them.

I would like to play with this one and put it through its paces. I just really, really, hate all-in-one amps and matrix, you lose the flexibility a separate matrix provides.
I keep hearing very good things about it, Anthem ARC per zone, can create 2.1 channel zones as well. Quality amplification too.

This would be my "go to" as an alternative.

Hi Alexis, I emailed you yesterday as requested, but have not heard back from you at all. I guess it can't have been as urgent as you made out.

How many of you have been ripped off by Control4? The system rarely works. Great salesman, worthless system.
If that's really how you feel and are not just trolling these forums for the sake of it, I think you'll find you are in the minority there.
Control4 is a very robust and reliable system, but as with most similar products, it's only as good as the programmer/installer. There's many ways it can be configured incorrectly or at least not as well as it could be and that can result in a poor end user experience. Combined with perhaps dealing with an installer either unwilling or unable to come and fix any issues you are having this will often make clients feel they have been ripped off.
You say "Great salesman, worthless system" which sounds as though they could talk the talk but not walk the walk when it came to actually implementing what you wanted it to do, that in itself is a fault of the salesman and/or programmer and not the Control4 system itself.
As already suggested above, perhaps explaining what you have in your system and what issues you are having in more detail, I'm sure there are several of us on here who could help steer you in the right direction rather than just bad-mouthing the brand without any true basis on which to do so.

Blustream, especially with their Custom Pro chassis will have something to cover those requirements.
If you want a 6x4 matrix then no problem.
Absolutely rock solid integration with C4 via a sponsored driver authored by Chowmainsoft.

My suggestion of a single printer only SSID broadcast from a single AP is no doubt also avoiding the issue with the fast roaming incompatibility, as the device cannot roam if there is only one source of the SSID it connects to.

Do you have multiple wireless access points?
HP printers absolutely hate seeing more than one source of an SSID. In a multi-AP Wi-Fi environment I often setup a hidden printer only SSID and configure it to be broadcast by only the AP closest to the printer, fixes these issues with HP printers every time.
Unable to control Samsung QN85QN85CAFXZA TV

If you pair a Samsung TV to a driver and then replace the driver you need to go into the TV's settings, I can't remember where, and delete all previously paired devices, before it will let you re-pair it again. Completely resetting the TV also removes all previously paired devices from the TV's memory which is why it works after you had done that.
