Hi, i am new qualified c4  looking for the right directions, which drivers do i need to get this set up?

i had a look on composer pro and there few options,

our new project have installed prowarm system with with 17 manifold downstairs and 3 upstairs,

what is the right kit for the job please?

Have you installed the ProTouch IQ Thermostats and Hub? If so then they are just rebranded Heatmiser NeoStats and NeoHub and so the Heatmiser 'Neo Network (OS2.7+) DAD' and 'Network Thermostat' should work perfectly.

Please feel free to PM me if you need further assistance with those drivers.

What kind of integration were you able to achieve with the Yamaha piano and C4?

I pretty said it there already, was just a non-controllable audio source into the matrix, but we made a custom Piano icon for the driver, nothing special. Client can either set it to play itself from its own dedicated app and then select as a source in any rooms or can select as a source and play it live throughout the house if desired.

  3. If you are using the analogue outputs on the HC800 then you just need a dumb power amp and set the HC800 to be the audio volume endpoint so the the HC800 handles all the volume control.

Similarly, with your current setup using the old receiver, why do you not have volume control, surely just knocking together a basic IR driver for the Sony receiver will give you the control that you need.

I don't disagree with the recommendations of the Triad One, its an excellent product, but can't actually figure out why you cannot just control the power and volume of the setup you have already?

  4. You mention in your earlier post that the stuttering only seems to happen at a volume of around 40% and higher. This would tend to suggest there may be a small short in the cable somewhere along its route, perhaps a nail or screw, which at low volumes/wattage output will not be enough to present an issue but any higher and the amplifier will detect this shorting on its output and go into protection mode repeatedly.

    Good idea -

Does this cause any issues in the home? i.e. obviously it will wipe out definitions that are current etc. but I can just look and then restore the latest backup and be back where I was? I have never done that on a client before so I just don't want to cause issues.

    Thanks,

    Bil

No I meant load it up in Virtual Director.

  6. Click on the image to open in a separate window and zoom in, it’s high enough res to clearly see which terminals are used.

    1) Both regular speakers are wired as normal to the speaker terminal of the matrix amp.

    2) The sub amp has a set of stereo speaker inputs, all you are doing is wiring those inputs in parallel to the main speakers. You can either wire the subwoofer amp to exactly the same terminals on the matrix amp as the main speakers as shown in the diagram, alternatively you could wire the subwoofer amp to the speaker terminals on each of the main speakers, it doesn’t matter which way you do it.
