I made one for Fire TV also, but where Id like to see it working is on Samsung Smart TVs. Not sure how to get the serviceID for a Samsung TV to do the call through LUA. Maybe someone knows how to get that?

Looks like they broke YouTube Kids. Previously it worked for Fire TV and prior to 2021 Samsung TVs. Now it works for neither. Wonder if this was a mistake/oversight or on purpose. Id love to see a universal driver for SoPlayer and DS Video.

I doubt it. C4 hasn’t updated these matrixes in years. The firmware has been the same forever. I really wish they would do an update though.

Ended up with a Triad One and a set of Bose 251 environmental speakers. Turns out I get a crazy good discount at Bose, so figured for the price they were worth a shot. I’ve usually avoided Bose since having a Lifestyle system way back in the day. The Bose set was way larger than what I was expecting, but think they will do the trick. Going to test them out some more when I get back in town. Got everything setup right before I had to leave. Loving the style and compactness of the Triad One though.

And I’m stupid. Yes I was thinking about this completely wrong. Long day I guess. I’m good now.

Have a TV hooked to LU1082D through a baluns. From the TV I have an optical cable to a triad one. All works. I want to also have the ability to listen to Pandora, AirPlay, etc from the speakers hooked to the triad one. So I ran a pair of RCA cables from a stereo out on the LU1082D to the Stereo in on the Triad. My assumption is the streaming cant route through the digital audio out of the actual TV. My thought here was the Video Endpoint would be the TV HDMI, Video Endpoint Audio would be TV Room Selection Output, Video Endpoint Volume could be either the TV or Triad One. Then the Audio Endpoint and Audio Endpoint Volume would be the Triad One Apparently my thought was incorrect, as this doesn’t work. Additionally tried setting everything to the Triad One output with the exception of Video Endpoint. The TV functions and TV audio functions, but no Streaming audio. Am I thinking about this all wrong?

Unfortunately all the fans in my house are manual direct reverse.

I’m a big fan of Bond. I’m using it for all the fans and fan lights in my house. It has been working great.

I might have a LU862D with 6 baluns for sale soon. It uses Ethernet for 6 displays and hdmi for 2. A friend is talking to his dealer about it, but I think from what he described to me he needs a larger option than a 8x8. So just waiting for him to tell me he is a go or no go on wanting the LU862D. Should know within a week, possibly even today.

Fixed it. I put all the cable box in a Edid group on the matrix and now it works. This also seems to have fixed some volume issues I was having on other TVs when I was using the cable boxes.

Definitely a FIOS issue. Found that one of my set top boxes was 4 versions older than the rest and it started working fine with the new TVs. Forced an upgrade to the last version (the rest were 1 version behind) and now the one that was working isn’t working anymore. So guess this update is introducing some handshake issues with these new TVs even though it doesn’t affect my other Samsung TVs. Tried a HDMI splitter from Monster, but the result is the same.

Recently added two new Samsung TVs to my configuration as well as upgraded to LU1082D matrix from a LU862D. I didn't realize this at first, but it seems my 4 FIOS boxes I have connected to the matrix switch aren't working on the 2 new TVs. I can hear the audio, but get no video. These two TVs are running off LU1E baluns. The other 8 TVs I have, the FIOS boxes are working fine. My other 6 sources consist of Xbox, NVR, FireTVs and a EA3. All 6 of those sources are working fine on the 2 new TVs. Have tried redoing calibration, and I see it drop the input on the TV and then come back to a black screen again where I can still hear audio, but get no video. One thing I did notice is if I do a Reset Calibration with a FIOS box mapped to the TV this will then display the Video and Audio for the cable box that was mapped. However, if I change inputs to another FIOS box it goes back to no video and only audio. Then if I switch back to the one that was working, it no longer works other than the audio. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? The new TVs are both Samsung UN50TU7000FXZA.

Now my new question....anyone want to buy some IRUSBs...LOL Thanks everyone for getting me straight.

As I said, I may be incorrect...:). Alright then I think I will give this a shot and save myself some money.

The problem with the C4 driver is (and I may be wrong and you can do this) I don't think I can do custom mini app drivers which I can do with IURSB for my FireTV devices. Im limited to the C4 Universal Mini Apps which doesn't cover the apps I want to launch. However with that said, I may just use the C4 driver for now and switch to IRUSB when another sale happens.

I have about 6 of them already, so Ive definitely bought them direct/new before, but I feel like they were slightly cheaper when I bought them before. Like $29 a piece. They sent out a good coupon last month, but at the time I didn't need them and I can't seem to find that email anymore. Most likely deleted it since I didn't need them then. Im sure I will eventually just buy them for full price, but figured trying to find them cheaper or used was a chance worth taking.

Looking to buy 2 IRUSBs. Really don’t want to pay full price for them at $39 a piece plus tax and shipping. Anyone have any for cheaper?
