I have SolarEdge and Sense. I don’t have Sense configured in my C4 setup, but can tell you the SolarEdge app on its own is really nice. I can see how much I’m producing and consuming at any time in the day. Historical information, etc.

Yeah that’s interesting. If I search it on amazons website it’s listed, but if I do it on my Windows 11 box in the amazon App Store app there is nothing.

Yep, same issue when running in full screen. Everything else works great other than opening a camera beyond the thumbnail screen. Crashes everytime.

I’ll have to double check mine. But I thought in the driver directions it said to not select connected to NVR.

@Darin, C4 PM UI Im in the US on the East Coast, and when I search for the app in the Amazon App store app, it doesn't find anything. Should I be seeing it? Am I just an idiot a and not doing it correctly? I did go download the APK from someplace else though and side loaded it. I still have the same issue in that I can bring up my cameras and see all the thumbnails, but if I select a camera to try to make it bigger it basically crashes and returns me back to the thumbnail view. Although I will say the crash and return seems to be better in this latest version than it was in the previous 2 versions of the apk.

Sweet. I had been downloading it from other sources previously. Seemed to work fine for the most part, but would always fail to open cameras beyond thumbnails. I’ll definitely try this new version tomorrow and see if I still have that same problem with cameras.

Additionally I’m sure they mentioned this to you as well, but ensuring all your HDMI cables is at least 2 meters in length. During the troubleshooting of the 8 baluns we did swap all the HDMI cables in the setup to be at least 2 meters.

AC-Ex70-444 kits https://www.avproedge.com/ac-ex70-444.html What helped the installer was since we had so many in our system project, we could easily swap baluns with a known working one that was on a different tv and show the different balun worked just fine in the location that was having issue. Then put the “broken” balun on a TV that was working previously fine, and the problem was present. So clearly following the balun.

Which AV Pro balun model do you have?

That’s interesting. Are they saying it’s because of the receiver? I have 10 AV Pro baluns in my house doing 4k all through CAT5e. I did have an issue where I was getting random black outs, like sometimes after 30 min, some times after an hour, then a random one again on 8 of the 10 baluns. They RMA’d all 8, and the replacements don’t seem to have the issue at all. Although 1 of the 8 introduced a new problem where I was getting blackouts and some snow in the image every 30secs to 1 min. We determined it was a bad HDMI port on the balun, so they are currently RMAing that one now.

Returned it for a similar series Denon. Zone 2 works with ease.

Think Im just going to return it. Onkyo's support response clearly showed they don't even understand their own product.

Its crazy that I replace a cheaper Onkyo that this worked perfectly on with a newer higher end Onkyo and it doesn't work. Lol. All I have configured for Zone 2 is the Line Out for Audio. Im not leveraging the 2nd Output HDMI which would be Zone 2 HDMI output, or the Zone 2 speaker terminals of the receiver. With that said I am trying to get the HDMI sources going into the Receiver Inputs to output the audio the Zone 2 Line Out.

Or necessarily specific to C4, but picked up a NR696 to replace an older onkyo unit that wasn’t IP manageable. I usually use the Zome 2 line out to feed an input into my distributed audio. For the life of me I can’t get this Zone 2 on this new receiver work. If I switch the Zone 2 to be Zone B in the config instead it works fine, but it dumbs down the main single to 2 channel when you use Zone B. Configured as Zone 2 is supposed to only do Zone 2 in 2ch and leave main as whatever it was running at already. Anyone ever work with this receiver and zone 2 before? Opened a ticket yesterday with Onkyo but haven’t heard back from them yet.

Used this splitter

Ran the matrix zone output to a 2 way splitter input. Then ran the HDMI 1 output from the splitter to a HDMI input on the receiver. Then on the splitter I configured its EDID Management to copy HDMI Out 1 EDID.

Good timing. I just added the hdmi splitter that has Edid management options on it and problem is fixed.

Everything is 4k. Everything works fine when just using the matrix only. If we take one of the TVs off the matrix and replace it with the Denon, then pair the TV now off the Denon. Then that TV no longer recognizes their being a signal and the denon screen on the receiver itself does the flickering mentioned above.

Source devices on the 1082d are Verizon fios boxes and nvidia shield. Cables are HDCP compliant as at least 2 meters long. My next thought was to put a HDMI splitter in between the denon and the matrix that has built in EDID management.

Hey everyone, Has anyone seen this before? Taking and output from a 1082D matrix and putting it on an input of a Denon Avr-x2700H. The output of the Denon is to a Samsung TV. In this configuration the TV complains it is not receiving a signal. Although sometimes after a random period of time the TV will all of a sudden show the video. However, if you switch matrix sources it will go back to no signal. On the reciever itself the screen flickers constantly between D Surround and Stereo when on the input that has the Matrix. If you direct connect the sources to the AVR instead of through the matrix everything works fine. If you direct connect the TV to the matrix and cut out the AVR everything works fine. Have played around with a bunch of settings on the Denon. Like HDMI pass through, 4k standard vs 4k enhanced. Have also swapped HDMI cables, played with Compatibility Mode, Calibration, Group EDID Management on the Matrix. Any ideas?

I used a single Bond Bridge for 9 fans that came with my house (7100 sq ft) and had standard universal remotes so automation was a retrofit. No two way feedback as others mentioned, but while integrated with C4 I control them usually with Alexa voice commands. So I don’t really pay attention to their state in the C4 app as much as I do just visually when I’m in the room. Bond Bridge is super solid. Never have had and issue or at least that I can remember.
