  1. Thanks Matt. My dealer is a Pakedge dealer. I just need to figure out whether I need to upgrade the switch to one with POE+ to power the WX-1's. I have the power supplies, but it would not be feasible to find 110v anywhere pretty.
  2. That’s what I was asking. It is likely the issue. Windows 7 is not supported in OS3. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Did you purchase? I have the Kwikset 914 venetian bronze as you know, plus a SR260 with the recharge base. Both new. Also, an EA1 ($250)? $690 Shipped for all. Or $430 for the lock and remote. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. What OS are you trying to connect with? My issue was that I was unwittingly trying with Windows 7 locally. As for remote access, I had the network set up as “Public”. Check firewalls etc first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I wasn’t planning on really touching the master, since I assumed I’d not get any true 5.1 profiles. But then again, how am really getting them now? It’s Denon extending TiVo and Roku via zone 2 to the room. So I’m not sure where the DSP is happening. I always assumed the TiVo embedded profiles were somehow getting processed so it’d know which speakers to fire, with how many dB’s comparatively and when. That’s why I figured I’d leave it alone and thought the connects or amps to the passives would sync those. If I’m not able to incorporate those, then I won’t do Sonos Amps or Connect for the passives in the other zones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. For those of you that know my setup, I have a separate home theater setup in my LR/Media Room that seems to be working fine. It actually provides nice sound for A/V and music in the whole center core of my home. The MBR is currently a Sonos 5.1 setup. I am installing passive in ceilings in the bathrooms, kitchen, etc. Approx 4 zones. As I have posted recently, although I am not there yet, I am considering ditching Sonos all together, but not because I don't like the sound, more for the sake of C4 integration. I will be installing these new in-ceilings tomorrow and pulling cable back to my rack room. Have any thoughts on incorporating these? I was thinking Sonos Amps, but I don't know if I can control them in C4 (ie add to the app and remotes - maybe keypads). I know there are Triad Solutions, as well as others. If I am able to grab a remote and play streaming music via the Sonos amps (or Connect), then that will be just fine. Thoughts? Thank you in advance.
  7. Hi All. Anyone have experience with a Pakedge system? I am installing a used system this week and here's what I have: RK-1 Router S24P8 Switch 4 - WX-1 WAP's To I need the NK-1 or does the RK-1 settle that? I am assuming BakPak will come with the RK-1? Thank you in advance!
  8. What would be really nice is if the low voltage or 110v could just power it, rather than having to have an exogenous source to energize. Maybe that’s already possible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks Matt. I was able to do this with Mitch. They’re truly amazing these Z2io’s Matt. I had no idea of the possibilities with them. I feel confident now. I just was having a hard time with figuring out the contact/relay connections. Once I got it, it’s very understandable. Getting ready to do my garage door next. I got the C4 Kit. 10. Thanks Matt. That said, are you able to use and control the Denon OSD with a C4 Remote. Haven’t tried that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Well, sort of. I’m hoping to set a Quick Select custom profile that is multichannel stereo, but adds dB to my front heights or wides. Long story. (That pair are fairly nice sounding speakers, but because of the room layout, I had to use a 60” Episode ES-550 Soundbar). In the A/V setup the L/R of the Soundbar will be fronts. I have struggled over this because I have a new pair of Klipsch RP-600m’s that I preferred to use for 2-Channel music. It’s confusing and I’ve had a hard time articulating. 12. Thanks @LollerAgent this looks like exactly what I want. I should have looked first. It appears that each input can be set to a Surround profile. In my case, that would be a preprogrammed Quick Select. This way, even though my AV programming has a pair of 600m’s as heights or wides, I will set them for my EA5 input to enhance the volume of this pair in a multichannel stereo setup. Looks perfect. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Hey @LollerAgent Thanks. I’ll have a Custom profile set up for a particular input (C4). I use the native streaming music apps on the EA5, so I’d like that input to play the Custom profile without having to go back to the rack every time I steam music. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Happy Sunday! I’m integrating an X8500H Wednesday. It replaces an X3500H just because I’ve added speakers to a 7.2.4 setup. I’m wanting to know if it’s possible to program to activate a “Custom” setting. This will be set up in the Denon, but I need a way to activate the setting when streaming music. I know that power, volume, mini apps and switching are nicely integrated, just don’t know if the driver permits further programming. PS: The Denon X3500 is for sale for $500 shipped USA. Only used since late March. Audyssey mic and box contents never even opened. Thanks all! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. I’d be surprised Anup. I think that Dolby Vision isn’t supported on Zone 2 if I’m not mistaken. @jdsmoothie over at AVS is an expert. I’m going to ask him. Regardless, this issue is driving me insane I integrate Wed/Thur and really want to do this right. I have a very difficult to retro area. So, I want to cable once. Crazy question, but what about Zone 2 audio for those two speakers. I need a second zone for the MBR, but a run a Sonos System in there and only use the AVR to matrix a dedicated TiVo Box and a shared BluRay Player. I bet I can get some sort of controllable small HDMI matrix and bring those two (TiVo and BluRay) via the same HDBaseT extender. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Distribution via HDBaseT Loller. I watch a lot of 4K, and I have a 65Q9F Qled there, so it's nice to have the best possible picture. I do not use the TV apps, but Roku also matrixed to that zone now via the Denon zone2.
  18. If I’m using the Pioneer, I can’t run video through the AVR. It’s 1080p. Any other way you can think of? Worst case I buy a cheap 5.1. It’s a Master Bedroom Loller. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. How am I getting TV sound? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks Loller. I do need a 5.1 setup in one zone. Is there an all C4 or Triad solution? I do have a Denon 13.2 X8500 system pushing another room, but I cannot think of a way to have to drive the 5.1 zone, I think I have an older Pioneer VSK-1021 laying around. The video is 1080p, but I wouldn't be using that. For what I am doing, that sound from the Pioneer should be perfectly fine. I will to add a 2nd Rack or put another unit on top of mine. Pretty soon I won't be able to reach the higher equipment!
  21. Loller, this is where I get confused. What I think you are saying is that the Traid One would be installed locally in each zone, but I'd still have to pull wires to it's location? Is there a Triad wireless solution? - Wireless in terms of speakers. One zone will require 5.1, is that possible with C4?
  22. Thanks Loller. I do not have those speakers installed, but can.
  23. Can I use the streaming apps from my EA5 to play to 4 zones with the Triad 4 zone Power Amp? This is where it's confusing to me. What about speakers? All have to be wired?
  24. That's excellent advice. You are confirming my thinking. How would I know which color of C4 matches best to Caseta? I think that's been asked before, I couldn't find that post.
  25. I am considering dumping my house full of sonos for a C4 solution. Right now I have 2 soundbars (2 locations, one of which has a sub and two sonos ones). I want more integratability, so I need some recommendations for solutions. I would love to do in-ceilings at bathrooms, kitchen etc. I still want to maintain a soundbar solution in the 5.1 zone (and I may leave the sonos soundbar in my daughters room. That room has dimmers and fan control, but I never integrated her TV, etc. Can someone sort of plan this out for me so I understand it? I will be looking to do my loft, kitchen, 4 baths. Thanks!
