  1. When you go to the UI controller, what is the status of the ethernet connection to the EA5? if it looks good,  then do you have you tried a direct connection to the modem of your ISP to the ea5? If this happenwd right after switiching routers then I suspect a wiring issue like bad cable, cables in the wrong ports, etc. Double check your ethernet wiring. Also check your DHCP settings on the router and on the devices to make sure you are not stepping on static or reserved IP address. Check and make sure packets are sending and receiving on the EA5 port. If you want you can invite me to your UI portal and I can look onto your sytem setup

  2. In that case sound like your wall switch is a simple switch with no power. Confirm that there is no voltage on the red and black wires with voltmeter.  If not voltage then you should be able to hook a wire from the relay contacts to the red and black wire terminals. verify this by using a jumper across the red and black terminals.  Again need to verify no voltage at these terminals or you will fry shit.  Recommend pulling up the wiring schematic  specific to your fireplace.

  3. Depends on the fireplace and if it has an ECM to control it? I just did this on my Heat N glo that has a brown wire the just jumps to the battery pack red wire to complete the circuit and light it up.  Looks like this is a simple power to solenoid setup but only guessing by the pic. In that case just interrupt the power to the unit with the Normally open relay on the Z2IO. Acts just like a switch in this case

  4. so the macro is set to turn off all lights and triggered in programming. All lights do tuirn off execpt on on a Keypad. The kepad button #1 which is connected to the load that will not turn off, the led and all all other keypad LED's turn off but the load(light) did not turn off. Manual and touch screen commands work fine also. Hope that makes iy more clear. Just tryoing to understand the uses for the different beahviors for the load and LED like follow load, etc

  5. So I have one keypad light that is the load on the keypad that has strange behavior. In the Macro at night to turn off all lights, this light would not turn off but the LED for the light and all other connected keypads LED turn off. Light is set to off in the Macro. I changed the behavior of the button to "toggle load" and the LED to "follow load" and it work now. I noticed that the led now flashes on the load keypad when it is pressed on/off. Should all light loads on a keypad be set this way for the button controlling the load on the keypad? Can someone explain the uses or defintions of the different behaviors for LED and Button settings in Composer as the manual sucks in this area!

  6. Blinking Issue is now fixed!!!  The Lithonia LED can lights that are on dimmers must be set to a fixed phase mode under "dimmer mode" Don't use the auto detect selection. Mine was set to reverse phase auto detected and  I set it to forward phase. No more blinking upon restoring power to a switch! Not all LEDs have this issues as other brands work fine in auto detect. Hope this helps out other with the issue

  7. Installed the LUT-MLC and fixed the problem! Now ordering more to see if it fixes the flashing my main LED can lights after a power restore as the switches throw out a burst of about 10v during a reboot that is enough juice to fire up my LED cans for an annoying strobe light effect!

  8. SO my DS2 on latest firmware 259 will not get video outside my home network during an intercom call on the iPhone app. All video on DS2 and TS3 work fine on my LAN WIFI. When I switch to the cellular network or an outside WIFI with fast speeds the DS2 intercom call on the iPhone app reports poor connection continue with audio. Now from the outside WAN all the T3 intercom calls can do video with no issues. i can also go to the DS2 camera via security cams and see the video feed from the DS2 on my cellular connection. Same issue with different iPhone. Any ideas??

  9. Well that sucks.. I had a keypad dimmer in there but the leak current coming out of the dimmer in the off state was turning on the gas valve of my lanterns. Any ideas to prevent this from happing other than put in another gang and use the single relay switch I have now?

  10. So I have an annoying issue with only my master bedroom ceiling cans that are controlled by 2 light switches and lumped under one group so they act as a joined pair.  With the lights off, when I lose power to the house and power comes back on the damn lights flash briefly and turn off.  No Bueno when sleeping! What causes this?
