poseidonsystems
Hi all, I'm a dealer and have access to all the products on my dealer portal and was wondering if the Wireless Speaker Points are discontinued? I can find the Ethernet version, but the Wireless ones are not listed? My client is telling me that these are available on the control4 website (https://www.control4.com/solutions/products/speaker-points) but after looking on the dealer portal...nothing.. Any ideas? poseidonsystems
So available on the control4 public website and not available to dealers? I don't get it. 14 minutes ago, msgreenf said: I think you answered your own question Sent from my BBB100-1 using Tapatalk
AHA
Its not listed as end of line, maybe contact your rep. https://dealer-emea.control4.com/dealer/support/product-lifecycle
chiAVguy
It only lists the Ethernet as an buy option, but under that product it still lists the specs, which leads me to believe it is still available. I'd call your area rep for clarification
poseidonsystems
Called the rep, but they're a bit confused as to why it's not listed on the dealer portal as well. Not sure where to go from here.
poseidonsystems
Does anyone else recommend something else that plays seamlessly with Control4? Sonos won't fit the requirements, ever since they updated the s***id drivers.
sonic30101
Use an access point in ethernet bridge mode for the music bridge?

Home Theater Advisors
They're announcing new speaker points? They are announcing everything that is new tomorrow. No way to know if a speakerpoint will be announced or not. But with how old the current ones are and all the issues people have, I sure hope they have a new one this week! Yep - look speakerpoints are running on terminal version 2.5.3 even in the latest software - and in general when you are literally a day or so away from new announcements - it's wise to just wait those out so you're up to date. poseidonsystems
We'll see, last year was Amazon Alexa integration, and some packedge backpack stuff,if I recall. Hopefully we'll see some audio amps or some 'real' sonos integration that was taken away the last update.
poseidonsystems
Well, the Triad 1 is out! There goes the speaker point dilemma... No wonder there weren't any wireless ones available.
THawes
There wireless speaker points had been discontinued some time ago, and only the wired SP's had been available.

The sonos integration was taken away by sonos not c4 and cant be fixed until they release an API worth building
