You know, what one would assume should be standard and a very simple thing. Its been awhile since I installed a system though so there might be very good things out there now. My last system was with an HC800 and Axis security cameras. It sucked. Crappy resolution, very cumbersome to even get to the camera screen page, etc. Almost was no point in even having cameras because of how time consuming it was to use them. On top of it, I would have door to door salesmen come trying to sell me on some cheap alternatives. I was never interested because I already had my system in place but these cheap alternatives absolutely looked fantastic as far as speed, ease of use, and resolution. So it just the security panel and its contacts and sensors. Get the pakedge cameras they are actually great quality for the money and will have full integration. Daniyal 16b Posted October 14, 2019 Share Posted October 14, 2019 Well for me control 4 is good for streaming music only as their cameras and bells and equipement are truely expensive but still I got 2 door locks for $800 from c4 4 sets of camera but hey didn't worked as planned as I wanted an app to notify me when someone passes by but it never happened so I got vivint in my house it always notifys when some one passes by got everything on it but the doorlocks they didn't connected with vivint as they were z wave and my dealer gave me shit that I can't connect z wave with c4 so now i got to know that they both intigrate with a speacial feature called works with vivint I called them and got that feature in my panel and my dealer will get a driver and it will get vivint to c4 to make it better I hope vivint does make c4 better people who don't beleive this heres a link from offical site of vivint you won't have this feature in your panel you have to call them.https://support.vivint.com/s/article/Control4-Vivint-Integration-Process so I do recommend yes for vivint if u like c4 go for it well i am not enjoing c4 as much expected Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
