PLEX for stored DVD's

I've just installed PLEX for my photo library and use roku to view these on my TV.

I still have 100 or so DVD's stored on NAS which us a Netgear EVA8000 to play from the C4 OSD.
I'm thinking about using PLEX for these movies too and scrapping the Netgear?

Can I have the C4 OSD play these movies using the Roku-Plex mini driver somehow?
or is the only option to use Plex's interface to find and play the movie?

Would be the only way I know of. Whether that's worth it to you for your collections is up to you.

I'll have to have a play around with Plex and then see if further integration is the way to go.

Note Plex doesn't do ISO files.  If you have ISOs then you will need to convert them to a container like MKV or choose another media player (My recommendation is Zappiti).

Ah yes, that's right - which is why I don't use plex

Plex can do ISO with a small mod, but it will not stream it, just index and scrap the cover art and informatio, so it need a player that can handle the ISO format like Dune. But I found the experience not so great with ISO as the best feature of Plex is being able to stream the movie to almost anything.

Use Alans Driver - you'll never regret it (it indexes on the fly, no refresh Scanning of media required, and the UI hes done is just perfection)

Consider infuse to play iso. You can store files in Plex, too.

+1 for Infuse.  I used to play all my .iso via Dunes but am infinitely happier with Infuse,
