BB42 Posted November 14, 2021 Share Posted November 14, 2021 Tried to start Amazon Music the other day on the C4 app (Has been working for a couple of years) and the app said authentication required and sent me to an authentication URL that says approval is successful but Control4 still says Amazon Music "logged out". Continually approving doesn't change anything. Driver is version 66. Removing and re-adding driver doesn't help. Removing approval on Amazon's side and re-adding it doesn't help. EA-3 Version 2.10.5 Seeing the same issue with a HC-800 running 2.10.6 and Amazon Music Driver version 66. I'm not sure what is the cause, Amazon end or Control4 end but very frustrating! Would be interested to hear the fix. I have a second system with an EA-5 running OS3 (3.2.3) software and no issues with that, so I do wonder if its an OS2 issue? Hoping this works itself out because my biggest complaint with C4 is that I have to pay my dealer for a service call every time something like this comes up. -defunct- Posted November 15, 2021 Share Posted November 15, 2021 I heard a tech asking if IPv6 is enabled on the router at the sites having issues authenticating and if disabling it resolves it. I don't believe I am experiencing the same authentication issues as others - I am logged in and everything looks like it should be working - but we'll try to disable ipv6 to see if that does anything. -defunct- Posted November 17, 2021 Share Posted November 17, 2021 Talked with a few on the dev team. It is possible to log in, but the flow for the UI isn't intuitive. The dev got where you guys are and then clicked in a few non-intuitive places to finish the login process. There is a bug written up that will be looked at. Hopefully the driver is enabled to be autoupdated in your projects, so they will update when a fixed version is released. -defunct- Posted November 18, 2021 Share Posted November 18, 2021 From my Android mobile: -Click url link -login with web browser, -allow login -close tab when web page says to -go back to Control4 App -click Home in the view to move off of settings -click settings, logout button loads and account is noted as logged in. Android, HDMI out (EA-5) or touchscreens. Attached is the android mobile screen shot. the driver version is 62, the OS is 2.10.6. Seems like there are a few issues with this driver. -defunct- Posted November 18, 2021 Share Posted November 18, 2021 I would highly advise getting your driver updated and then making sure it is autoupdated. Unfortunately, autoupdate half-worked in OS2, so you may have to update to OS3 before your system will continually get all driver updates with the autoupdate feature. dmcvie 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
