Samsung Frame WOL issues

I just installed a new 65" Frame and installed the IP driver.  I followed the documentation and everything works as expected....with the exception of turning on the TV if its been off for an extended period of time.  I have verified Power On with Mobile and IP Remote are checked.  I have verified with pings that the One Connect is indeed not responding.  If I turn on with the Samsung remote, i have full access via C4.  Once the TV is turned off, within minutes I loose access.

To test, I downloaded a wakeonlan from brew and sent WOL packets to the device with a continuous ping running.  These packets never bring up the NIC.  A few times, 5 minutes later, the TV pops on.  I am at a loss.  Samsung support is of no help, they are pointing to C4 and the network.  I have plenty of other IP enabled TVs that WOL works just fine.

Anyone else seen similar issues?

TIA

Mine were working solid for awhile, but more recently they have been having issues going into Artwork mode through programming.  Messes up maybe 25% of the time now.  No changes on the programming side.  Never had any power on/off issues though. But yeah the Frames can be finicky.

Joined this forum specifically to get help with a similar issue.

We have a home with 5 Frame TV's. 4 of these TV's are working well. The main 85" Frame TV will not power on with Control4 when it is in a completely off state.

If the TV is in art mode, the TV will turn on 9/10 times properly. When the TV is completely off (not in art mode) the TV will not power on from the control4 remote and the TV remote must be used.

All we are doing with this tv is using on/off, art mode, and HMDI 1 input selection. Can we use RS232 or IR Commands to make this TV more reliable?

I miss the official Control4 forums and was a big contributor on that platform. Now that I have joined this forum, I hope I can share some of my knowledge with others. I have a ton of experience with the Zigbee Pro upgrades if anyone is in need……..lol.

To have art mode select-able (as a mini app) you MUST use the IP driver.

There is a mini-app for art mode, like the mini-apps for Netflix, Max, etc?

I’ve found massive inconsistencies when trying to use the Mini App for Art Mode. It barely ever works for me, but doing Art Mode with programming instead works most of the time.

I have the exact same thing
