  1. The door stations do not use flash.....this is incorrect. I'm on 2.10.6 and they are still in my project.
  2. Id be thrilled if I could still use my 2 door stations. I would be thrilled if I can keep these going forward as they were expensive, expensive to install and difficult to replace giving their size that had to be custom cut in my stone. These Are the types of devices that should never have to be replaced and always work in some manner even that it doesn’t receive new features. Once you expect the customer to cut into their stone in the main entry you should never expect them to replace it with something of a different size. I can understand the need to upgrade older Touchscreen but it is very insulting to have to replace a fixed doorstation...especially without a same sized replacement.
  3. Thanks for the feedback as its appreciated. Ive been a C4 customer since 2008 with numerous upgrades to my system. I'm on the latest OS 2 build and have 10 touchscreens and 2 Door Stations and have noticed a very slow response time from the Doorstation V1 and the video intercom showing. Wil this fix also help those of us on OS 2? Also, 3 of my touch 7" T3 portable touch screens have lost touch sensitivity to the lower screen and are just out of warranty. Is there a possible fix for this? Several others have reported a similar issue in another thread. Thanks!
  4. Funny that their internal beta team and none of the have at lest 6 touch screens. Looks like the C suite doesn’t test their own software or they don’t use it like they advertised
  5. Nice that they notified customers of these issues
  6. I’d update if the DS will work as well....please tell me this is possible. However I’m doubtful the intercom agent will work on your IE touch screen
  7. Why does it have to run android? There is nothing special about the GUI and it could be replicated using a compatible OS on the HC800. Just more work. Work most of us would love to even pay for. While we are at it RyanE why was the doorstation made into a doorstop. It works on the current intercom protocol. Seems like C4 doesn’t like to support their own hardware.
  8. Also how much processing speed can it really require to show a fixed grid on a screen. Abandoning the HC 800 as a GUI display seems like they didn’t try very hard
  9. No reason for Control4 to discontinue support for a fixed door station, and they should allow older controllers to be used as I am extenders. Etc. etc. Actually the processor in an HC 250 as much more capable than that in the I/O extender, yet the I/O extender continues to be supported. This is simply about money. And I will be showing them in the future that I will not buy any Control4 branded hardware unless it is a controller
  10. Sounds like the best way to use Control4 going forward. Third-party hardware only and avoid all Control4 branded equipment outside of controllers as they are the first to be abandoned. Isn’t it funny that they support all these different equipment yet abandon their own... extinguishing customer loyalty in the process.
  11. Exactly my frustration...if my 2 $1000 door stations were third party I could upgrade and continue to use them. Now if I want to upgrade to 3.0 I will have 2 $1000 doorstops. Not only that but the new units are of a different size and I previously spent $500 I spent to have a mason cut the brick . Control4 is nearing the end of the road for me. I likely won’t upgrade and will slowly quit replacing older gear due to their lack of support. If dealers think these type of corporate moves will expand their customer base they are likely wrong. If you expect your customers to replace equipment like a doorstation every 5 years then you don’t understand the market for your product. I can understand the need to make older controllers obsolete, but fixed in-wall devices should be permanent and supported. Also my speaker points are just used as local amps...do they really have to be removed? Why would and amp need to be removed?
  12. I’m frustrated that the door stations (I have 2) can’t be used in OS 3.0. They have never been supported well by C4.
  13. Seems little counter intuitive to not control lights and thermostats on the OSD without extra work.
  14. It happened to 2 TS that I don’t use often, so I’m not quite sure.
  15. Look Looks like the email addy is rejecting incoming msg
  16. Is this something that could be added being I own your Apple HomeKit device. I bought a bunch of the dash buttons in anticipation.
  17. I’ve been dying to get my hands on this ....anyway to sell me your version?
  18. This isn't properly showing up in my project even after selecting a remote. What's the proper setup procedure as there is no included documentation.
  19. Maybe we should approach C4 as loyal customers. A little concession on their part would go a long way for their most vocal customers.
  20. This is definitely a mfg issue and should be covered out of warranty. C4 are you listening?
  21. Mine were 2 months out of warranty....both with touch screen issues yet barely used.
