  1. I will be hoping to trial this driver with the Epico Google TV box from my cable company. https://www.androidtv-guide.com/pay-tv-provider/cogeco-epico-v2/ Does the drive allow numbered channel input? ie press 1-2-3 to get to channel 123?
  2. With zank - can you input specific channel numbers on the box?

    Ruckus Sale!

Yeah...I have fibre and cat7a. Currently using 3x r710s. Gonna pick up a new mikrotik 100G/25G router and switches. Next AP upgrade will be Ruckus with wifi7. Full overkill mode...

    Ruckus Sale!

Do they have their wifi7 AP unleashed available?
  5. This seems interesting - wonder if it's one-way or two-way audio The Control4 OS 3.4 release also upgrades the surveillance camera experience with in-app audio and at-a-glance Live View indicator enhancements,
  6. Does the Native C4 drive poll its weather source using set intervals? WIll you get info like - in 1 hr it will snow (ie predicted weather)
  7. @Shivam Paw & @alanchow I'm trying to fix the functionality for announcing the weather in the morning and sending push weather alerts. 1. I'm guessing that I can combine the OW agent and TTS driver using { ProxyID::Variable Name } to gather info from the agent to insert in the speech field of TTS? Is this a correct assumption? 2. 1 hr weather notification - with old driver I was able to pull weather changes in an hour and send a push notification- Ie it will snow in 1 hr but I don't see that variable in the OW agent? I don't want to buy the OW agent and it not meet what I'm trying to accomplish Thanks
  8. if someone has a tempest in my neighbourhood can I use their feed with the driver instead of buying a device.
  9. Now that darksky no longer works; what weather driver do you recommend to pair with this driver
  10. Any updated weather app that will integrate with Shivam Paw's text to speech driver?
  11. So I have looked under programming and actions and I cannot find where I can create a "if unlocked by xxx user" or "if unlocked by xxx code" in the yale driver. Am I looking in the wrong place? In the programming it doesn't allow me to select a specific user or code
  12. I need some help with programming idea We have people that come into our home. They have a custom door lock code that is only active during certain times/days. I know it is bad form to save your alarm code in C4 for auto alarm disarming. However I don't like not having the alarm active and I'm sure it would be a problem with our insurance company if there was a break-in. What do people do? I know there is an occupancy driver being developed for android geofencing (we are an android household). I was thinking some type of programming that looked to see if our phones were home when the dog walker/cleaning lady unlocks the front door;or I could base on alarm status - if alarm stay (stay - due to the dog and risk of motion trigger) and dog/cleaning unlocks the door then i would get C4 to disarm alarm or emulate the alarm keypad to enter the code to disarm. To leave I may create a button at the front door that they press (no alarm keypad only c4 keypad) to set the alarm to stay mode. I was trying to think of the whatif if they forget to re-arm the alarm - how could I trigger auto-re-arm and that would be based on a timer of how long they are expected to stay (dog walker 10 min / cleaning lady 6 hours) and occupancy/geofencing. Hopefully the driver being created works on geofencing thru wifi and not bluetooth so it would protect us from accidental re-arm if we were out in the backyard (we have an outdoor AP). Any other ideas/methods?

  14. haven't had the chance to test yet. It's on my to-do list
  15. If using security cameras plugged into a network switch and have a specific camera VLAN setup - don't you have to allow inter-VLAN routing in order for C4 to see the cameras/NVR? If a cable from a camera is disconnected can't the attacker still gain access using the inter-VLAN routing? I have a Hik NVR and 9 IP cameras with your driver. I also have a doorbird that is recorded using the NVR. Would I have to move the doorbird to the VLAN to keep the recording capability? Second question for Andrew (or other experts) - my installer setup all my Hik Cameras on the generic IP camera driver years ago. I got them to switch over one camera to your new Hik driver last year. I can't say I've noticed a difference. I have all the line crossing etc setup at the camera level. What would I gain by setting up the rest of the cameras using the specific Hik driver? Should the line crossing etc be setup at the camera level or NVR level? Sorry for the thread hijack
  16. Anyone worry about the potential security risk if someone ended up with your phone and the auto unlock via Bluetooth let's them in? I'm currently looking at the hikvison facial recognition terminal with built in finger print reader. We want a faster way to unlock our Yale locks rather than the key pad. Unless someone decapitates my head or amputates my hand/finger then we are secure. I'm going to test integration speed with my Yale locks soon. The auto unlock of the assure 2 is definitely cool. I wonder if having both systems active at the same time would cause issues - use the Bluetooth unlocking for me and wife; use facial or fingerprint for grandparents, cleaner, kids.
  17. Does the Auto-lock experience driver still work with this? I mean showing the correct status of the lock whether locked or unlocked?
  18. My point of the sam is that everything stays local.
  19. Sorry to resurrect an old tread. I finally have my SAM tied in via RS-232. Now I'm stuck trying to configure the drivers. There are two drivers - network and thermostat. I have two air handlers and 6 zones. Upstairs has 5 zones and mainfloor is a single zone. I'm struggling to figure out the nomenclature in the driver. Each thermostat driver has a choice for system and zone. It doesn't auto populate. I'm guessing my mainfloor is system 1 and only zone 1. I don't know if my upstairs is just a continuation of zones or a new system with it's own zones. Any ideas how to figure this out?
  20. Hmm...don't have clue what happened. I'm going to test again
  21. Question about mockupancy. I let it record for 7 days. Activated it for a 4 day vacation. I came home and forgot to turn off playback. Noticed after 30 min and turned off playback. For some reason all of my Yale locks unlocked themselves right after I turned off playback. I have no unlock programming tied to turning off mockupancy. I checked the history and the locks stayed locked for the 4 days I was away. I did not tie mockupancy into my alarm at setup. Any ideas?
  22. Like with many things....Just started working again. However intercom no longer calling my phone when doorbird is pressed.
  23. @RyanE created a great driver. One function I'm struggling with is programming the auto lock to enable/disable when using a button press. I have Yale locks zigbee. For example when I have a contractor in and they need to work outside and inside then I want to turn off the auto lock feature. I usually have the auto-lock set to 120. Before using this driver, I programmed this functionality based on the Yale lock driver but with the Auto-lock driver you have to have the Yale driver auto-lock always off. Below is the programing I have for turning it off. Turning it on is just re-enabling it (single line of code). I also have it automatically re-enable at midnight. Any idea why it's not working? Also if I get this working, will the driver switch back to the custom time length that was there before?
