Maybe try using the light sensor cover with the black bar on them. I've had keypads with a backlit key in the #6 position that produces enough light for keypads to ever go dark. The black bar should make it less sensitive, you'll likely meed to play with the dim/dark values after installing it through so that it still works like you expect.

Thank you @WholeHomeControl, somehow the "follow load" checkbox was unchecked. I was familiar with the "follow load" option for keypads, forward phase dimmers, etc. Didn't realize regular old switches had it too. Face meet palm. Cheers!

Yesterday I noticed an odd issue where one of my switches (C4-SW120277) stopped showing the status lights. The backlights are functioning fine, and if I perform a 15 press reboot I see the status lights flash green several times so it doesn't appear to be broken per se. The switch itself if functioning fine, passing load, and the light sensor is reading current levels properly per HE. I have also set the minimum status lights level on the status LEDs absurdly high, additionally I have flipped the breaker to that area to remove power for a considerable amount of time as yet another test. Anyone ever seen this behavior before? Not sure what other troubleshooting steps to take, as it seems more software than hardware related at this point.

When using the Chowmain Bond driver, is there anyway to reduce the number of fan speeds the C4 UI shows? My fans display 7 speeds but my fans only support 3, the Bond bridge identified them correctly as well. Using Composer HE I can only set the default on speed and don’t see any other knobs to turn. So far I just automated around it, any speed greater than 3 just sets the speed back to 3 (high).

That is promising to hear. The email alluded to maybe a new driver, is that true or could someone with HE knock it out on their own?

Has anyone gone through the account migration from Nest to Google? I got an email earlier this month about my Control4 integration and how to keep it working post account migration. Curious how it went for those who have migrated.

I am unsure if this is consistent across all music services but for DLNA, and Amazon music it would be awesome to search on NEEO like you can from a T.S. or smart phone app App.

If you have Composer HE check that the audio outs are turned up on your controller. I’ve had some odd issues recently where they go to zero after a controller reboot.

I am currently on a full Ubiquiti setup. I am not advocating for or against any other brands, but simply offer it as a data point that it has been running a year without any issues. I should also note that anything that is C4 integrated is using a cabled connection. Gear List: - Secure Gateway (USG) - US-8-60W Switch x3 - AC-PRO WAP x2 - Cloud Key v2

Does anyone know if the LG B9 supports IP control, or does it require serial? I recently purchased an OLED55B9PUA for my office and I am having difficulty tracking down a definitive answer. It looks like IP Control may only be available for the C-Series? If you have any information let me know, it would be greatly appreciated. Bonus Question - How long can a serial run be? Cheers!

Mine stopped working as well. Just curious what version of the HL driver everyone is running? I reached out to HL for support last week and they got back to me today, they did confirm that they no longer support the driver but recommended I try v1.6 to which they sent me a copy. My driver version is v1.5, and their site only shows v1.5. Since I am not an integrator I can't install it to test but I was able to examine the driver and pulled the following info from the release notes. It looks like tvOS 13 does break integration with the Gen3 model. The driver fails to initialize and pair, for me anyway. Last year I went on the hunt for the best iTunes setup and ultimately landed on running a Twonky server on my iMac and integrating it with the C4 DLNA driver. It performs great and will expose all your playlists etc. without any extra work, you don’t even have to deal with folder.jpg files either for album art. Twonky is also one of the few DLNA servers that supports searching through C4.

Hello, I was wondering if Control4 has any warranties on their gear, specifically remotes? I’ve just had another SR-260 remote fail. There is no visible damage, standard wear for a remote exactly 1yr old. The remote was working fine the previous day and now it appears dead, no display etc. even with new batteries. Oddly it also emits a high pitch squeal which can’t be good. The previous one did this as well. Really hoping I don’t have to buy a SR-260. Was really hoping to wait until the next version. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I am able to connect to my EA-1 without issue. I did notice that the “Tools” menu no longer populates in HE for OS3.

I was able to delete devices yesterday afternoon from the customer portal. I was using Safari as my browser.

I reached out to Control 4 and inquired about the "station selector" drop-down menu item in their updated driver. Sounds like WU will eventually be phased out. Hopefully someone will write a new driver (WU or PWS) to fill this void. I rather enjoyed the programming I was able to achieve by integrating my weather station, I would love to have that functionality back.
