just to throw a wrinkle in this. i have 2 wife approved options. 1 - centralized rack with everything there, except the gaming consoles 2 - New Entertainment rack (since the one i have in the living room is open and our toddler likes to play with the AVR and Amp and pull the ps5 off the shelf). the new entertainment center i am looking at is 4-5k. So, if i wanted to spend 4-5k on either one. what makes more sense.

will do. if i keep the shields local to each TV and gaming consoles on the current TV, what benefit does this give? seems i will just be saving the cable box and that is it. maybe the living room i could move the AVR and amp to a central location. but would still have 3+ devices there My whole thought process was that if everything is centralized, i could play games in any room and not have components at each TV taking space. right now i have cat6 at each tv (4-8 per tv)

Morning all. i am trying to get everything into a single centralized rack location in the house. Here is what i have Living room - Arcam AVR, Xbox Series X, Ps5, Nintendo switch, Cable TV, Nvidia Shield, LG 77" Oled (will be changing for a Samsung Premiere UST in the next week), EA3 Bedroom 1 - LG 65" OLED, Nvidia Shield, Cable, EA1 Bathroom 1 - Samsung 60", Nvidia Shield Bedroom 2 - SAmsung 55", Nvidia Shield, Cable Bedroom 3 - Samsung 60", Nvidia Shield, Cable, Nintendo Switch, EA1 All rooms have audio via C4 Amp and matrix. For the current rack,. i have Ea5, Triad Amp, Triad 8x8 audio, Ubiquiti UDM Pro, Ubiquiti 48 port POE switch, Cyberpower PDU, lutron caseta pro, Luma 510 8 camera. My thoughts. I want to move everything from the entire house (AV wise) into a central rack. So the rack would have all AVR, NVR, Gaming consoles. Cable TV, Nvidia Shields, etc in it. I would get the C4 HDMI Matrix (not sure which one) Is this doable? would multiple rooms be able to watch separate things at the same time (for instance, one room playing PS5 and one watching Nvidia Shield? Morning. I need some assistance on my AVR. This is for my living room system. Here is a breakdown of current equipment. TV - 77" LG OLED AVR - ARCAM AVR20 C4 – EA3 Audio – LCR is Martin Logan SL3 and Theater Center. Surrounds are in ceiling Martin logan MC6 in ceiling (x 4) and rears are Martin Logan MC8 in ceiling (x2) AMP – Emotiva XPA5 Gen 3 Misc – PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch, Raspberry pi, Nvidia Shield. The AVR is hooked up to the EA3 via rs232. Everything else is hardwired ethernet (gigabit) to my equipment room POE switch. Prior to this AVR, I had a Marantz SR6015, which worked fine, but I got a good deal on the Arcam, so decided to upgrade. The Arcam is great. Love the connections, the sound, the looks, everything. BUT it is ridiculously slow in changing the volume through C4. If I change the volume on the SR260, Neeo, t3, phone app, etc, it is so slow. Like I hit volume down and 5 secs go by before it changes volume. That is IF I only hit it once. If I try to quickly turn down the volume by holding the button, it goes crazy. For instance, the volume is at 50. I hold volume down, it goes from 50 to 48 then jumps to 57, then goes to 49, then to 45, then to 52, etc. Matt lowe (my dealer and does all setup) looked at it and said c4 is working as intended and that it may be a defective unit. I updated the unit to newest firmware, net protocol, etc. Still does it. If I use the regular AVR remote, it is perfect. So it seems that it has something to do with C4. Is arcam integration just not good? I would say i will just live with this, but the wife will not. She already questions my spending on C4 and the last thing i need is something not working properly. What can I do? I am ready to sell it and buy something different (I was thinking going Anthem). Recommendations? Thanks!!

Morning all. looking to sell my 2 x Neeo remotes. I never use them. They are both in perfect condition. I dont think I have boxes though. Comes with remote and charger. Shipped via UPS overnight for no additional charge. I just personally prefer the SR260s. Looking for $400 shipped each.

Morning everyone. Before i throw this on eBay, figured i would check here. i have had this unit maybe 6 months. Works great with C4 (Matt lowe programmed it for me). Never had an issue with it. Got a great deal on an Arcam AVR20 and decided to get it. So, slightly used Marantz SR6014 AVR. Maybe 6 months old. Non Smoking house. Used solely for home theater system. LCR were all preout to Emotiva amp. Perfect condition. No box or manual, though. Retail is 1499. Will do $850 to someone on here. thanks.

i use IrUSB on the old and the new nvidia shield pro with no issue. the cylinder shaped one (the cheaper one) will not work, since there is no USB
