  1. Hi

I have a house project with two floors.
The main Philips Hue Hub is in the upper floor directly connected to the home network through an ethernet switch.

However, the hub couldn't search for lights in the ground floor.

So I created a new email for the second Philips Hue Hub  (since the hue app doesn't allow us to add more than 1 hub for the same account) and connected it to the same network in the ground floor.
Now, even though the lights can be identified, I cannot add the lighting loads identified by the second hue hub in composer.

Can we add two Philips hue hubs in the same control4 project ?
Even though it is allowed, lighting loads of second hub cannot be added....

    Need help please !!!

Yes. That is the issue. Did you follow the instructions to make sure all the settings were correct?

    @msgreenf

Yesterday evening, I tried to solve this several times by deleting and re-adding the driver.
I noticed that it's fetching the MAC addresses of other devices connected to the network from time to time, in the driver properties.
Then I corrected its MAC address manually.
Then I was able to control the TV.

However, today in the morning, the control was gone.
I tried deleting and adding the driver several times, and was unable to pair the TV. (Even though the 'Pair' command was sent from the Composer, the pairing pop up didn't appear on the TV screen).

Then I reset the TV, and did everything from the beginning.
Finally, I was able to pair it and control.

What could be the problem ?

    Any idea?

    Hi @Crustyloafer

    Can you please help ?

    thank you

  3. I'm using a Pakedge MS-4424 switch with a B-900-MoIP-4K-CTRL controller and few transmitters and receivers.

However, when I plug in new receivers, they are not getting added to the MoIP controller.

I verified this by tapping on the "Print Receiver List" option in Composer (under the Actions tab).

I tried rebooting the MoIP controller several times along with the Pakedge Switch.

    What could be the issue?

  4. I'm trying to control my McIntosh C53 with a Core 1 Controller.
The only possible method of controlling is RS232.
I have attached an image of the McIntosh C53 to show the RS232 port of it pointed out with a red arrow.

Should I use a 3 pole or 4 pole auxiliary audio cable for RS232 communication ?
Also should we go for the straight type or bend one ?

    Thank you

You can look at Big Ass Fans: https://chowmain.software/drivers/control4-big-ass-fans-haiku . Huge list of variables, and great protocol.. Very few support issues either (so far, all but 1 of them since rewriting the driver were because the firmware was old, and the last I suspect was firmware related, as nobody else reported the same issue).

The driver also supports CCT lighting, the built in occupancy sensors, sleep mode, whoosh, etc. You just need to ensure you get a wifi model

    Hi @Andrew luecke

Thanks a lot for your information !
