Could try a wireless dimmer puck. That is what has been recommended to me and I have installed and just waiting to have the can installed. Only downside is it's a light proxy so have a light rather than a fan icon etc.

Hi @enzeder

In UK the standard voltage is 230V. How did you manage to integrate ceiling fans with Control4 so far?

Has anyone used LED strips longer than 5m?

Yes, funnily enough that is exactly what they are designed to do. Virtually unlimited scalability and non fixed format matrix configurations too.
I personally use the Blustream Multicast solution instead but there are many IP solutions out there, many of them very good indeed.
Good News !
Thanks @Crustyloafer

SnapAV has MoIP transmitters and receivers with layer 2 switches. Could we replace the total functionality of AV Matrix devices with MoIP transmitters & receivers, for multi-room video?

I'm looking for a fan controller which is compatible with Control4. Is there anyway, I could control the speed of a 230V ceiling fan?

Dinushan,
Have you been able to identify your lock yet?

SnapAV/Control4
Not yet! These door locks were purchased from Amazon. According to Dan Hart (Control4 Tech Community) the zigbee module of the door lock needs to be purchased from Control4 and the door lock can be bought from another vendor. I think we have bought door locks and zigbee modules from Amazon.
The link to my post is given below.
Do you have any other method or a solution for door locks and zigbee modules bought from other vendors?

Can someone recommend AV receivers compatible with Control4 (Network Drivers should be available) for Dolby Atmos setup? I'm looking for a 9.1.6 or 11.1.8 AV receiver to be integrated with Control4.

My Yale Living Door Lock is not getting identified. Please visit the link given below for images.

Hi,
Can someone recommend a RGB lighting engine for pools where the lights are waterproof and compatible with Control4 (should have control4 drivers)?

Hi @alanchow,
Will this work for any RF device? I have a Blind in my office which can be controlled using a RF remote. Any possibility?

If you have a single UI and the 30 lights with no automation, then it might work.
As soon as you add lighting scenes or more UIs (like 10 touchscreens and a few mobile devices), then you will want at least an EA1.
The CA1 wouldn't fail on it other than commands being delayed or slowed.
got it! Thanks ! @Dunamivora

Just my opinion but I dont see why a CA-1 couldnt handle that. In fact, the CA-1 was made to tackle a project just like this.
hi @therockhr , @LollerAgent, @Dunamivora
Have you guys tried for a similar case? anyone practically tried it out for a 3 storey house?

Hi,
Is the CA-1 controller powerful enough to automate lighting of an entire house (two-three floors) with centralized lighting?
(Lets say we have 30 individually controllable lighting loads)

Did you run the latest patch for Shairbridge?
No I didn't. I will run and see. Might need more time to confirm as it occurs rarely.

We are working on this at the moment. Will be released once firmware 2.0 gets released from Bond.
Oh Great! Here in Sri Lanka people still depend on radio frequency based items, which is a big headache.

Hi,
When streamed music from mobile through AirPlay (EA-5 with ShairBridge driver), rarely the soundtrack may not play consistently causing audio dropouts & glitches continuously. When this occurs, the audio isn't audible at all. If i exit the control4 app, reconnect & re-stream the audio will play without any issue. What could be the reason for this? The problem occurs very rarely though.

Is there a way to control radio frequency based devices using Control4? Is there a module or a converter to interpret the commands using IR ?

Try the un65js series IR driver in the database you shouldn't have to learn commands for that. It will also have discrete power commands. That remote may have bluetooth power toggle I am not sure since that remote does pair to the TV
Hi @sonic30101
Thanks for the reply but that driver didn't work. But i found another driver which works.
Is there any 230V fan regulator compatible with Control4?
