  1. Yep. So it actually forces a rediscover when you relink the skill, but I've tried rediscovering a few times outside of redoing the skill. I've even deleted working c4 devices from Alexa. it rediscovers the deleted devices but I still get the error in the portal (and can't seem to recover the devices I've disabled in the portal vs. disabled in Alexa).
  2. Weird. I'm wondering if there is some larger issue with the voice portal. Most of my c4 voice stuff worked last night with the exception of 2 devices. Today, those 2 devices work again. Now I just need to figure out how to re-enable the stuff I turned off in the portal.
  3. Interesting. When did it quit working for you? My problem is that it used to work (probably a month ago was the last time I checked). I have disabled devices on that page that I was either using native Alexa skills for, or devices I wasn't ready to discover into Alexa. Now I want to go back in and switch some of them back on so they will be discovered, but I can't.
  4. Thanks, have done that a couple of times now. No joy.
  5. On customer.control4.com, I can no longer see my voice enabled devices. I get an error that my system isn't linked. I've had this linked and working for over a year, this page usually works fine (mentioning this because when then has never displayed anything for me, not a big deal). The weird part is that most (but not all) of my c4 devices still work from Alexa. New devices that were just added yesterday (when I noticed this issue) even show up and are controlled correctly. Some of the non working devices are devices that have been in my system from day 1. I have disabled and re-enabled (and re-authenticated) the skill in Alexa. I have active 4sight and can control my system off network. I haven't used that voice page in a month or so. I'm on 3.3.3, ea3v2 controller. I have hard rebooted the controller. The voice scenes driver exists in my project. Any ideas? Thank y'all
  6. I think I remember you were getting the IQ Pro. I'm assuming you got it and integrated it into c4. Is it the same driver for the iq2 and iq4 panels? How do you like it so far?
  7. Iq4 panel will run wireless sensors by itself. There is a takeover panel (iq hardwire 16) you can get if you have wired sensors you want to add to the iq4. The takeover panel communicates wirelessly back to the iq4 panel. If you have wireless GE sensors, you can get the 319.5 version of the panel that will let you add in those sensors. It's powerG and 319.5. Integration with c4 is easy and the driver works well. You have to setup the panel for 6 digit codes and coordinate with your dealer when you enable the Integration to add in the panel to c4. I believe there is a limitation of 2 partitions on the integration (but I could be wrong). Dealer then creates the sensors so you can program off of them in c4.
  8. No hub needed, they are wifi. The driver is a paid driver and is well worth it. They redid it as an agent so once it's installed you can add devices yourself.
  9. Not zwave, but have you tried the tplink kasa stuff? There is an excellent driver for it as well.
  10. I also use bluesound through a nad ci580 and agree. We do very little native streaming from the controller (mostly Pandora stations which are low quality anyway). I have a handful of dacs (including the 580) that support mqa between my control4 setup and dedicated listening space (which is not setup in control4). 99% of the time, MQA just isn't my cup of tea.
  11. Yes, we do this from both bluesound and the native c4 driver.
  12. I'd say as a whole, tidal and qobuz certainly won't have as big of a catalog as Spotify (or maybe even Amazon). But we've run into issues where tracks become not available on Spotify as well. So who knows. We sync playlists between services using soundiiz. It will occasionally "miss" when the track actually does exist in the service. For the stuff I can't find on qobuz, we have local playlists on bluesound with a mix of flac served off my nas, qobuz and occasionally tidal (if it's missing from qobuz and I haven't purchased it yet). Not perfect, but we are very playlist heavy and it has served us well.
  13. I'm certainly not knocking MQA. Let your ears decide, it's just a personal preference. Lots of people love it and I do still have a Tidal subscription, just don't use it very often. I don't think you could go wrong with either.
  14. We primarily use Qobuz. Very large catalog, and lots of 24/192 tracks. Despite all of the fun gear, my ears just don't agree with MQA (Tidal). YMMV.
  15. The standard 5mm 4 pole phoenix connectors (I don't think they've changed in a decade) are rated for up to 12ga. I'm 14ga bare stranded copper across all of my distribution amps (4x audiocontrol p800 with phoenix connectors), they terminated fine. I've never tried it with 12ga (the zones I run 12 and 10 don't go to phoenix connectors).
  16. Traditional banana won't fit, but pin connectors will. Fwiw, 14ga will fit into Phoenix just fine.
  17. DD8 is a basic multi channel amplifier, no ability for remote control (no serial, no Ethernet, just remote power trigger). DD8+ is the one that can be matrixed and IP controlled (and there is a driver).
  18. Pretty sure you have your dealer go here: https://drivercentral.io/platforms/control4-drivers/utility/ifttt-maker-control4-driver-chowmain/ And get you a 90 day trial (or you can buy it).
  19. I definitely think, given the setup, triad one is a great fit here. But I'm having trouble with your math. https://www.amazon.com/Audioflow-Speaker-Switch-Selector-Smart/dp/B08M5KL646/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?crid=1NFRLS1DFGQB9&keywords=audioflow&qid=1688086382&sprefix=audioflow%2Caps%2C126&sr=8-2&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.f5122f16-c3e8-4386-bf32-63e904010ad0
  20. Check on customer.control4.com. click users and devices and make sure the email is verified.
  21. Another possible option if you don't require separate sources and want a single room: https://flow.audio/ And the free driver: https://drivercentral.io/platforms/control4-drivers/audio-video/audioflow-speaker-switch/
  22. He's talking about a "refresh navigators" in composer (refreshes all of the user interfaces - tablets phones remotes etc). If you have composer HE, you can program it to regularly occur. If you do not, your dealer can program it. Strongly suggest the 3.3.3 update if you do get in touch with your dealer.
