  1. You can manage this from the app on your phone. Hamburger icon top left, then settings wheel bottom left. Go to preferences, un-toggle "enable intercom".
  2. Thanks. I just assumed it was normal. I'll ask my dealer to look at it when things slow down.
  3. No joy. The un-pause still takes the Roku to whatever mini app is displayed after the announcement completes. I suspect it's something with the sources switching, which leads me back to the original problem.
  4. I'll play with my programming on the pause then, maybe I'll send the pause to the device directly vs pausing the room. Pause to the room definitely switches me to whatever mini app is showing in watch (even if it's not what I'm watching). That being said, do you know of a way to force the context to change based on what app the Roku sees me in?
  5. Not changing them. If I'm in something other than the selected mini app (because I went there from the Roku home screen), the pause takes me to the mini app.
  6. I'm assuming this is normal behavior, but I would like to program around it. My problem is that, unless I launch a mini app from the C4 ui, the "watch" and "session" context displays don't reflect the roku app i'm using. For example: Action 1: Launch netflix mini app from c4 app or neeo. Result: netflix is loaded, I have full control. Roku apps driver: lua shows "current app # 12 (netflix)" Sessions: netflix is displayed as the active session in that room. Action 2: Launch vudu mini app from c4 app or neeo. Result: vudu is loaded, I have full control. Roku apps driver: lua shows "current app #13842 (vudu)" Sessions: vudu is displayed as the active session in that room. Action 3: while watching vudu, go to roku home screen from app or neeo, select netflix from roku home screen. Result: netflix is loaded, I have full control. Roku apps driver: lua shows "current app # home screen (roku)", then "current app # 12 (netflix)". Sessions: vudu is still displayed as the active session in that room. In short, if I use the roku on screen display to select an app, the roku apps driver clearly knows what app I'm in, but the "watch" and "sessions" context do not update to show what app I'm currently using. The apps are not important in the above example. If I use the onscreen to select anything, the context for watch and sessions are not updated (i.e. hulu, paramount+, etc) Behavior is same whether I use Neeo's, SR260 or Android app. Behavior is same on stand alone rokus and roku TV's. Each player has it's own mini apps. Each roku driver is set for passthrough mode. I would assume I can program around this, but there doesn't appear to be an action or variable for the roku apps "current app" where I could force the UI to display what the roku knows I'm using. I never really cared about this before, but I'm having an issue with the way I've implemented announcements. My matrix doesn't duck during announcements so we briefly pause video (if it's being watched) while the matrix and prepro flip over for the announcement, then resume when the announcement is complete. If I'm not careful about making sure I'm in the correct mini app, on resume, it will launch whatever mini app is being displayed (even if that's not what I'm actually watching. In the example above, that would take me to vudu even though I'm actively watching netflix. I thought I remembered seeing a post about this in the past, but I'll be damned if I can find it again. Appreciate any guidance. Thanks, Spencer
  7. You do not need HE to add a favorite that already displays in the navigator. As many others have mentioned in this forum, "press and hold everything" in a navigator or UI to see what you can do. My suggestion on HE was simply to control default room volumes, clear queue, or hide the blue sound node, per OP.
  8. Intuitive once you get the hang of it. Strongly suggest you use the training videos from @Matt Lowe or talk with your dealer about buying some training time.
  9. Both of these are easy fixes. You can favorite (press and hold) the roon to the home screen of that room so you click once and it's ready, and you (through HE) or your dealer can disable auto play and clear the queue each time it starts as well. Default room volumes are also easy to set.
  10. Make sure the tv (or source) isn't expecting a center channel (like 5.1).
  11. 15 minutes sounds like the access token is expiring. Have you confirmed the token displayed on the panel (it's in the wifi devices section) matches the token in the c4 driver?
  12. If you turned on 6 digit codes (and didn't change the default codes), it's just 111100 for installer and 222200 for dealer. Any of your 4 digit codes now are 00 at the end until you change them.
  13. Per Axiom, no intercom. There is a driver for it, looks like you get the ability to control a few things on the tablet. Volume, LED color, brightness, mute, reboot. https://drivercentral.io/platforms/control4-drivers/utility/axion-lighting-5.5-and-8-android-touch-panels/
  14. I also do something similar (maybe by accident?) with a Roku TV in a guest room.. If I use the Roku remote to turn on the tv, sound comes out of the speakers on the TV, and I control the volume with the Roku remote (no sound through the room speakers). If I use the neeo and go to watch, sound comes out of the room speakers via the matrix. Not as elegant, but works for the rare times I don't want the TV coming out of the room speakers.
  15. It renewed last month and the problem has been occurring over the last month?
  16. Use the room control driver to join kitchen to the office session, or, under digital media, add kitchen to that session.
  17. Also, I might just be an extra bourbon in for the evening but is this new(ish)? I don't remember shuttle controls in sessions... We usually had to plop into a room to skip, thumbs down, pause etc. this is great!
  18. Most of ours are bing potd images (there are thousands and they are high res). We can generally find a slice that looks good on phones (as well as tablets). We have professional pics of most of our spaces and have never bothered to use them as backgrounds for the reason you mentioned. We have screensavers feeding our rokus and our generic wall tablets with the same images. Every once in a while we'll find a new one we like and update a room wallpaper. Easy peasy.
  19. I actually like this app update. We've always done generic wallpapers that remind us of what a room is (not actual pictures of the space - baked goods for kitchen areas, water pictures for the pool, etc). Turns out they look good as little icons. I like this much better than the odd fly out icon update that makes me feel like I'm back on an old version of Elan.
  20. Any change in speed if you do 2 separate macros? (1 for open, 1 for close)? I would guess the issue may be with all your ifs at the end (it's circling the whole list each time). I'd either try 2 macros, or ifs for each keypad.
  21. It works. I have an iq4 in control4 with 2 partitions. The panel itself supports 4 partitions, but the documentation says only 2 are recommended if you bring it into c4. One thing to note about partitions on the iq2 and iq4 - no common zones.
